Manifest The Shortcut At Work (reprise)

Leephether writes:I had a wonderful manifestation that I thought I’d share with you all. This has been a tremendously stressful time at work. With the Holidays we have plenty of work to do, if not more and all of us on staff take more time off, increasing the load. Fortunately I asked and got approval to get someone to work 10 hours a week to help out. What a response! I got 53 applicants in just four days. I haven’t been able to look at the resumes at all because I’ve been so busy. This afternoon I had a moment to review them, and asked my supervisor if she wanted to look at them also. She flat out said she didn’t want any part of it. I sat and picked up that big ole stack and said to another helper that I didn’t really want to look at them either. I just wanted someone to show up ready to work, shortcutting this application process. Less than 3 minutes later, a young man walked in and asked about the position that we had. I looked at his resume and he had the very skills we could use in our department! He also speaks Spanish and can help me learn more, so that sweetened the deal for me. I had to go get my supervisor since she had to be part of this hasty decision, and LOL, we hired him on the spot. So without going through all of those resumes, we had the perfect someone show up when we needed him. He was tickled to know that he had a job starting the first of the year, so everyone was very happy. I love just seeing someone in my mind’s eye and then they show up – they do! Ken, you and I do that anyway, but this has increased. It is so much more instantaneous and remarkable since learning with you the past couple of years and attending your workshop last June. I wanted to share this just in time success with you all.LeephetherIf it affects you, then you have the power to change it. Manifesting is not always about what you desire at home. If there is something you require or need changed in the field around you, then take charge. Manifest the perfect solution. You may not be able to change those personalities around you, but there are hundreds of ways to reduce the problem and the stress. Sometimes it’s as simple as an improvement in your own perception, a staff shuffle or change of your job task. Regardless, you have tremendous influence so put Manifesting 123 to work for you. It is not necessary to provide every detail and micromanage your solution. Simply visualize a future were the problem is solved or your requirement is met, then go back to your day to day schedule. A solution is being formed that will cut through the calculus and arrive as quickly as possible. In this case, the entire office benefited, particularly the new hire. I wonder if the hire was asking for something on the quick as well? Place your bets!Ken ________________________________ Want more? Regardless, Your Thoughts are Manifesting

No one here escapes pain or death, that much we know and the deeper reasons for this have been pondered for centuries. Those who have journeyed beyond tell me that we each arrive here according to an agreement of our own making. Let’s call it the plan. My dear friend Judy Goodman often mentions this. Through her remarkable daily experiences living between the physical and non-physical realms, she has seen firsthand that yes, there is a plan and it is one we help design before we enter this life. The opposite view would be that life is random or purely survival of the fittest. But either way, whether living in a world with plans or existing in one of chaos, one truth remains constant: our thoughts create and especially those that we repeat and combine with emotion. They shape our experiences, bringing forth both form and non-physical concepts like happiness, calm, and balance. So, if you find yourself navigating both joy and difficulty on this beautiful planet full of people and their imperfections, it may be that you are moving along the path you chose. Whether your life feels orderly, chaotic, or somewhere in between, your thoughts remain a creative force. It’s part of the gift we all receive at birth: the ability to bring about change through what we think and focus on, and that includes the so-called good and bad things. Don’t simply accept your present condition or the supposed “ways of the world.” The skylines that define our cities, the miracles and coincidences we witness, the wishes that come true all began as thoughts. Thousands joined together or sometimes just one. Remember, there’s no difference between a big miracle and a small one and you can make them happen. Point yourself to happiness,Ken ________________________________ Want more? (it’s a fun ride) Purchase the book or e-book.Want to share books with friends? A Question: How Can We Manifest No More War?

Trish asked this question today, “How to do a manifesting for NO WAR.” Here are my thoughts on that, and I don’t have a certainty on this, but I replied in this way: Let’s say you don’t like the White House being white, so you approach the White House with a bucket of pink paint with the intention of changing that color. What you will immediately find is that you are up against years of previous and present intentions by other people that far outnumber your singular thought of painting it pink. There are consensual laws forbidding that and physical guards that will quickly stop your approach. It will take a mass intention by more than just you to make that happen. Regarding the idea of peace, I would offer that intentions for peace are abundant and constantly engaged on the planet now, resulting in a good portion of the world at peace presently. In opposition to a peaceful intention are countries and regimes that find reasons to invade or defend themselves, creating a different intention of entering into a war. Often those decisions are made by small groups or individuals that have the power to activate existing armies at their command. Since the decision makers are a small group, there is an opportunity for a larger group of people with peaceful intentions to amass a more powerful and united intention, deterring that compact group of people in leadership positions. To maintain peaceful goals in our country we get to vote and protest. In a dictatorship, people can strive for peace with limited political persuasion or protest, but at personal risk. My daily prayer, my intention, is for those in leadership positions that are not of love will be diminished or removed from those positions and replaced by leaders of a loving nature. It is up to us everywhere to manifest peace and practice it. Together in this way we are creating a large and powerful, global intention that will expand peace everywhere.Ken_____________________________ Want more? Smooth Manifesting! House? Yes!

Susan writesAfter my husband passed away, the time came when I realized I needed to move. I hadn’t been long after my decision when a realtor friend of mine called and said, “I’m showing these houses in Lone Tree and perhaps you would like to take a look?” I basically said, “Lone Tree? Why would I want to get a house there?” But on her recommendation, I drove 30 minutes south from my place in Denver, looked at the neighborhood and called my agent back saying, “I would like to look at this particular home I just saw there.” She told me, “It’s not for sale. It’s sold.” I told her, “No, I just saw it on the market today.” So we set up a showing and we walked in the house. We learned that the deal did fall through but the house was relisted the day I saw it and not yet in the realtor’s databases. It was put backon the market the day I saw it and when we got inside to look, it reminded me of a mini version of the former Arizona house and a neighborhood my husband and I liked so much. Once inside the home for sale, I immediately said, “This is perfect and I want to make an offer. My realtor said, “Okay, you need $60,000 now.” So, I called my stockbroker and asked where I could get the $60,000. I didn’t like the idea of taking a chunk out of my retirement, but I was willing to go forward with it. Answering the phone, my broker said, “Hold on, let me look.” He got back to me with a surprise, saying, “ You have $60,000.29 in a cash account that you have forgotten about.” It was exactly the amount of money to qualify for the purchase and lock in the sale! I have learned that when things are supposed to happen, they’re going to happen, and as I’ve gotten older, if I sense that is something isn’t going to work, then I don’t spend energy on it. This was a “going to happen day.” Looking back on that morning, I drove to the neighborhood and first saw the nearby Art Center, something very appealing to me.Then, the house I liked had just come on the market, and I was able to see it first thing in the morning. Contacting my stockbroker is tricky, I love him dearly, but he doesn’t often answer the phone, but he did that morning. I don’t know if this was like manifesting, but I had it in my mind to find a house and in a very short time, everything fell together to quickly and effortlessly. One more thing that endeared this entire process to me is that the new home was like a mini version of a home my deceased husband and I owned in Arizona and the neighborhood was very much the same, an additional comfort to me. And one more thing… at the end of the day, the final decision maker for me was having an art center nearby and now I am part of the group that arranges exhibitions there.Perfect again! In this story, Susan had a few things on her mind here: a new home, the ideal of her former Arizona home and her love of the arts. This thought was constantly with her and when she allowed herself to leave the comfort zone of downtown Denver area, everything fell into place. It may even be that it was already waiting for her.Ken Go to the Interviews Page to see and hear Ken talking about Manifesting 123 and you don’t need #3. Did I Manifest a Small Thing, a Big Thing? It Was Important to Me!

Mikki writes:I love my kitchen and I have certain little tools that I love in my kitchen… had them for years, and I’m attached to them, one of those kind of people. And here we go… there’s a particular spatula that I had for probably 10 years, it’s old, and I got it at a garage sale. It’s enough to say again that it is a particular kind of spatula. So, I hired someone to watch my house and when I came home, the spatula was gone, no way! I became a nut case over this, because I love this spatula. I’m truly one of those people that keep the things I love. I immediately went on Amazon, then on eBay, I got on every single site I can possibly find. Now remember, this spatula is old, probably 20 years old, so it’s not like I have any hopes of getting it and I didn’t. Okay, so I finally gave up after about a year of looking for it. But then I remembered when I was young and when I wanted something, it was so much more fluid and easy to make things happen for me. I would just say, “I really want that,” and somehow, by hook or crook, I would get the thing. Okay, I told myself I’m going to make this happen. I didn’t have high expectations about getting the spatula back but regardless, I said to myself, “I really want that spatula back,” and lacking any other good options at this point, I let that thought go ‘out there” to create a solution. Time passes and my brother invites me to Iowa for a visit, 600 miles away. I spent the weekend with him. He has a friend there, a woman who collects junk and she has a little shop nearby. What the heck, it’s something to do while I’m visiting. On arrival, was amazed, even shocked when we walked in. This shop is, I’m not kidding you, just crammed full of stuff with little body-sized pathways, more like veins little going through it. All kinds of stuff is there and it’s stacked six feet high! We are slowly moving though the shop and I I can’t wait to get out of there because it’s as if every old American thing is crammed inside. There are poodle skirts and records and old, and more old, and it smells old, and you have to walk single aisle full of old. Can you imagine? It’s a lot to ‘behold” and I say to my brother, “Let’s get out of here.” I can’t get my head around buying anything in there, I just won’t and as I turn around, here’s a pile of cutlery and forks and spoons and knives, and, and, and again, and on the top is is my spatula, my exact spatula, 600 miles away! Now we have a scene, my ex-husband is with me as well as my brother. They all know about the spatula thing and they both see it at the same time. They’re sick of hearing about it, and they both say, “That is your spatula!” Yep. I even have a picture of my spatula with me, (yeah, really nutty) and I hold it up for them to see. It is absolutely, the very same spatula. Now one might say that obviously, they made a bunch of them, but they made them many years ago and I can’t ind them in stores or online anywhere. Okay, I got to have this, but remember I said that I’m not buying anything in this store. Now, I’m willing to buy it, but I I’ve set up a bit of a stubborn, mental hurdle. So I text the young woman that owns this store, asking to do a little FaceTime call with her. I hold up the spatula I ask, “Could I have this spatula?” and she says, “Oh yeah, I never figured out what to do with that thing.” “Really, it’s mine” I asked? I brought it home and I have it to this day. I know it sounds completely stupid. I even think it’s stupid myself, to tell you the truth, except that here’s what it says to me: That even my most whimsical desires can created or brought to me. Additionally, this whimsical desire was successfully delivered even with my added demand of not paying that store for it. I didn’t go in there looking for it and I walked out with it for free. Wow, that is a really big piece of cake! Here’s something else… a small time event? Um, not really. That was a demo and those demos are very important. They show us in a very obvious way what our thoughts can do.Ken Go to the Interviews Page to see and hear Ken talking about Manifesting 123 and you don’t need #3. I Almost Missed Out! Don’t Put Off Manifesting!

I think it was like a month ago, I was thinking of attending a photographic workshop / retreat up in Cody, Wyoming, and it would cost $5,000 to attend. The down payment was $1000, which I had, but it was the other $4000 that was really concerning me. As an artist doing Western scenes of the land, animals and working ranch hands, having access to authentic scenes offered in this workshop would be a tremendous help, but the cost was a real hurtle, so I convinced myself not to do it. Then I reversed myself, saying I’m just going to do it anyway and hope the money comes in. It didn’t feel good, I can tell you that much, committing to a $5,000 workshop. I that’s a big deal for me and most people. I swallowed my financial woes thought, signed up, sent in the $1000 downpayment and hoped for the best. I was so busy with other things for a month afterward that I didn’t to do any manifesting at all. I know a lot about manifesting and I have had some big successes in the past, but I let the idea slip by. Shortly before Christmas I thought I should try to manifest that workshop fee. I could have been more urgent about this, but I sat on it for a few weeks longer before considering a little manifesting idea, something a bit different. For some reason I have a hard time visualizing as a manifesting technique. Given that, I decided to try a different approach that I had seen in a used book recently bought at a library sale. I purchased a bunch of books to decorate a high shelf in my home. I’m not kidding, and when I looked at one of the books, it was like, oh my God, this is a manifesting book, probably from the 90s, and it was one I hadn’t seen before. It was written for secular people, even a business audience. It wasn’t really written for people of a spiritual outlook, but I could tell the author was a spiritual guy, It was a positive thinking approach, but it was pure-on manifesting. Basically, what you do is you is to write a letter to both God and your inner CEO, your higher self. It’s effectively a series of letters. The first letter is a letter about describing your ideal life in a specific way. Now that normally doesn’t work very well for me, so I just wrote a letter about my artist’s life, my ideal artist’s life. Next, you are supposed to put it in a folder or special place for God and your higher self to consider and grant. The next day I did a different letter, off the cuff and simple, but it was about manifesting the remaining the $4000 for the workshop. This letter was very specific stating that I needed $5,000 or more so that I can take this 2026 workshop up in Wyoming. I wrote it like a conversation, saying this will help me with my art career, the artist life that I wrote to you about yesterday, you know? So I’m doing this to support the artist life that I had just laid out to you yesterday, okay? Then I did something that is special to me. I have a little old, super old-fashioned suitcase. That’s my little suitcase where I put things I want God to see. It’s cute, just sitting on a shelf. It’s my little suitcase where I can communicate and send things to God. God can look in there and figure out if I should have what I asked for, something else, or whatever. So I put my letters in there a few days before Christmas, likely the 20th of December, and the next day I got a check in the mail from one of my galleries. It was exactly $5,000 for a very large bison painting I had done! It didn’t stop there…The next day, someone purchased two small paintings off my website, for another $1,000, wow! And then the day after that, another gallery here in town that had just begun representing me sold a $1,000 painting. Hmmm, three days after writing that letter, I totaled $6500! Why did I delay? Once again, my manifesting had a remarkable result, telling me to manifest every day, and why not? What a great way to begin the new year!Nancy Nancy Rynes is an author with a remarkable first-person story about her near-death experience and a full-time artist. In Nancy’s story, she placed an intention into the future and began to manifest a successful result. Here’s more on that idea. I did joke with Nancy and asked her if she is renting out her little suitcase. Of course not, but you can come up with your own special place, yes?Ken Go to the Interviews Page to see and hear Ken talking about Manifesting 123 and you don’t need #3. Manifesting in Quick Time!

C. writesI had recently moved into a new home and was beginning to figure out where all of my existing pieces- furniture, accessories and art would be placed. It was a lot of fun but it required a lot of attention and decisions on how to best arrange everything. All was coming into place nicely, particularly the study. It’s a small room where small changes can make big differences and I began to focus on how to make this room something a little more special. I remembered a small room I saw years before that was painted in a chocolate brown. The effect was very sophisticated and cozy and it would work perfectly here. The couch and comfy chair for the space were both off-white and I had a side table with a white marble top. Those light pieces could create a theme of light against the existing dark floor and chocolate walls… perfect. Everything was in place except for one thing. A lamp was needed for that side table and it would need a dark shade to cut down of glare and also keep to the dark/light room theme. So what kind of lamp? This is definitely not my area of expertise but there were plenty of lamps I did not want: brass, porcelain, or charmless designs. Then it hit me. What about a lamp base that collects the light behind the black shade and becomes another white, glowing surface below? What about something of an organic, not manufactured style… white… coral with a black shade? I had never seen such a thing but it would be perfect for that study. OK, so this is a manifesting story and there are many good ones, big and small on the Manifesting 1,2,3 website and here is a little lamp story, but because of what happened next, I felt compelled to write this up and send it in. Back to the lamp. All the rest of that day the idea grew into a quest to find it. This is in a pre-internet time, so finding a white coral lamp, if there is any such thing, would be a big task, and by evening, it was too late to look for it. The next afternoon I was arranging the day, thinking of where to begin the lamp search when the mail came. I pulled it out of the box and I was shocked to see what was on the COVER of the Horchow mail catalog. It was what I had been thinking of for the last 24 hours, a black-shade lamp with an interesting white coral base, and by the way, it was better than I had envisioned. This is my big takeaway… if you think it, it can happen. This is right in line with the Law of Attraction idea where you attract things to you, a fabulous thing to know, but later I learned that we can also build things within us – happiness, less stress, well-being. These are internal changes that we created within us, mail order is not required. Thank you for indulging me. This was an early signpost for me and I wanted to pass it on.C. ________________________________ Want more? (it’s a fun ride) Purchase the book or e-book.Want to share books with friends? A Favorite Thanksgiving Story: Doing the Right Thing (reprise)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Here’s a thankful manifesting story for the holiday.Ken From Sue:About a month and a half ago, I was driving through my workplace parking garage searching for a space to park. My van has sensors to indicate when I’m getting too close to another vehicle and I’ve become expert at pulling into a parking stall. On this particular morning I pulled into a stall sandwiched by vehicles on both sides and the sensors beeped as always, but today was a little different. I hadn’t allowed enough space to clear the bumper of the car on my right…there was a dreadful scraping sound. I got out to inspect the damage. Weirdly there was none to my van, but the black car to my right had noticeable paint missing in a couple spots. Worse yet, it appeared to be a brand new car! Panicking, I pulled my van out of the stall and parked on another level and wrestled with ignoring the incident or doing the right thing. Thankfully, my conscience won out. I scribbled a note of apology with my contact information and tucked it under the car windshield wipers. This all took place on a Friday (no TGIF for me that day!). I waited and wondered if I would hear back from the other party. The weekend passed and I felt giddy thinking I had dodged a bullet. Monday evening arrived and my phone rang with an unfamiliar number. It was the husband of the woman whose car I damaged. He sounded kindly and asked me to return the call. Gathering my courage, I called and we talked about the incident. He commended me for coming forward, but the bottom line was that this was a new car and both he and his wife wanted it back to pristine condition, which I understood. He indicated it could go one of several ways – from buffing out the damage at minimal expense or replacing the entire bumper to match the car’s original condition at a much greater cost. Because I felt it could well impact the cost of my future car insurance payments, I told him I would wait to hear estimates from him before deciding whether to file with my insurance company or just pay it out of pocket. Being divorced for a couple years has drastically altered my finances so I work at keeping expenses to a minimum. This new “wrinkle” was causing me undue worry and stress so I began using the techniques in Ken\’s book, Manifesting 1-2-3 to request, not only the best outcome for my highest good, but the highest good of the couple. Weeks went by without my hearing a peep. Then this past weekend I got The Call. He apologized for having taken so long to get back to me. He told me that as they suspected, their auto body shop indicated the need to remove the back bumper and redo everything for upward of $600. OMG. They decided to take it to another shop and the operator was confident it could all be buffed out and touched up as good as new! So they opted for the second estimate. Are you ready for this? When his wife went in to pick up the car, it was on Veteran’s Day. When the shopkeeper found out her husband was a veteran, he waived the in appreciation for his service! Unbelievable that the repairs were done for FREE! The husband again expressed his deep appreciation for my honesty, and I expressed my gratefulness for their kind and thoughtful demeanor throughout this whole ordeal. I just love the way this all turned out. I’m still amazed that my budget wasn’t gobbled up with an unexpected expense! We all have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!Sue ________________________________ Want more? (it’s a fun ride) Purchase the book or e-book.Want to share books with friends? Praying For The Cure: Message Received and a Miracle at the DMV (reprise)

Recently I was invited to appear on a local radio show here in Denver. It was fun to be live in the studio with radio hosts Greg and Lisa. Most of my radio interviews are in other parts of the country and take place by phone. The owner of the radio and recording studio facility is Hoss. I told Hoss I was interested in doing an audiobook version of Manifesting 123 and he recommended the perfect person to me. So lately I’ve been recording at Hoss’ studio and spending more time with him there.A number of talk shows originate from his station. His philosophy is to have upbeat programs without offensive language. He is basically trying to put some good out into the world. I’m glad we got to spend more time together. Hoss has a lot of interesting stories from his years in the broadcast industry. Then there was that one personal story that really got my attention. I’m delighted that Hoss has allowed me to pass this onto you. Some years back, he was diagnosed with an incurable type of cancer. He was a very sick man and it didn’t help his struggle mentally to know that one of his best friends had been diagnosed with the same type of cancer about a year before. The difference was that his friend’s cancer was operable, but Hoss’ was not. Hoss, his friends, family and total strangers, were putting up a lot of prayers. He was doing some very serious asking and petitioning. He did not want to die. Leading up to the diagnosis, Hoss underwent exploratory surgery. While the doctor had his suspicions of what he was going to find, he needed to see exactly what causing the excruciating pain. After opening Hoss up and exposing the cantaloupe-sized tumor to the surgical team, the prognosis was pretty grim. Turned out that this was the exact same 8-person surgical team that operated on Hoss’ friend who had been diagnosed a year earlier. The cancer was pretty much identical, except for the location. Hoss wasn’t expected to live through the night. The next morning the doctor was doing his rounds and was surprised to see that Hoss was still alive, but in pretty bad shape. The doctor told Hoss to hang on and that he would return later in the day. When he returned, he brought an Oncologist with him who had amazingly enough, treated Hoss’s friend. It was at this time that Hoss was told that he had cancer. While the Oncologist was up beat, his prognosis was that Hoss would not live more than 6 months. To his credit, the doctor did not share that prognosis with Hoss and discharged him from the hospital a week later, scheduling him for 6 months of experimental and intensive chemotherapy. Months later, Hoss was still extremely weak and far from a picture of health. The medical bills had really mounted up, so Hoss decided that he would have a garage sale in an attempt to bring in some extra cash. On the day of the sale his daughter came to him and asked for a favor. She said she would run the garage sale if he would go to the DMV and renew her license plates. That sounded like torture to Hoss. Because of his very fragile health and low-energy, it would take a real effort for him to get to and from the DMV. However, to please his daughter he made the trip. When he got into the waiting room, all the chairs were full except for two, side by side in the front row. A large number of people were standing all around the perimeter of the room. Hoss needed to sit down and he told me he would’ve done whatever it took to get one of those two chairs. He got lucky and collapsed into one of the chairs. Now he just had to tough it out for the long, long wait until his number was called. Almost immediately a woman sat down next to him and began to chat. She was a real talker and Hoss didn’t have the energy or desire to carry on a conversation. She was friendly enough and hard to ignore, but he didn’t give her much in the way of responses. Then she mentioned that she was a nurse. Hoss has a real soft spot in his heart for nurses and he began to engage a bit more. Hoss talked about his cancer and the nurse said that she knew his surgeon’s mother. The mother had recently died and this nurse helped her through hospice. What a small world it was. Hoss was glad that he made the effort to talk with this woman. Then his number was called, but before he could stand up, this lady patted him on the leg, called him by name, and told him that everything would be OK.
