From Welfare to Faring Very Well, Thank You

Darla writes:

I’ve lived a life of poverty for many years. I was homeless, poor and on welfare my whole life. I always felt I was bad luck until my good friend sent this book, Manifesting 123.

I read the book and did what was suggested. My husband was doing the manifesting as well. For some reason, I felt like that this could work because it explained how our ideas build things so easily. The book said that it might take some time but for us, but things began to happen fairly quickly.

Because we were on welfare and lived under Section 8 rental rules, we were told our two girls had to share a room. I wish we could, but my girls can’t due to emotional issues and ages. Amazingly, they allowed us to stay! We somehow got to keep our apartment! It was the first thing that happened for us after reading the book and doing what was suggested.

I did my life’s story every day, what the book calls ‘the movie’ and things began to change. We struggled with paying bills all the time and neither of us had work. In our movie, employment was not a problem, it was a wonderful part of our security and happiness. Then we got our next big break, my husband got a job.

My husband didn’t have the experience for that job but somehow he got it anyway. He jumped on the opportunity, worked hard and quickly got a higher position with more pay.

It just kept getting better as we followed the book and kept imagining our life’s story. Not long after getting the job, he was promoted to General Manager of the store. He went from minimum wage to twice the amount of those first paychecks! Before, we couldn’t do much as a family besides staying home. Our income was just too low for us to have fun and eat out at a restaurant.

We are never without money now and my husband keeps winning scratch off tickets too! Recently his boss told him that store is now his store. I am so proud of him and very grateful. This is an amazing turnaround for us and it keeps getting better. Just yesterday he was told they promoted him to District Manager with another pay raise. This is incredible news!!

So our life has changed dramatically. I feel so blessed to have read the book. I also like how I learned to keep from being afraid or negative about a lot of things. My family is strong now and moving forward. At last I’m looking forward to what comes next.

This Christmas I know my kids won’t go without like last year. They will have gifts under the tree like never before!  Today we are no longer on welfare and living happily.

Darla didn’t point out how adept and knowledgeable she and her husband were on this topic – they weren’t. Nor did they possess special skills or insights. The stories in the book convincingly showed this couple how anyone’s thoughts immediately begin take form. They were encouraged to try and with every amazing result, they became more empowered.

What they lived through was hard but once they worked on their better future together, life became much easier.

Getting an even better paying job with real responsibility and more pay.   Check
