Manifesting and Creatively Insisting
The artist Dawn Miller sent me an interesting manifesting story. Some weeks earlier we were discussing how business people and other artists have had success when they visualize that a particular result was in progress or had just happened.
I have done this a number of times myself, as recently as last week. Typically the stories are about an artist say, stating one of these two things: “A painting is selling now,” or, “A painting has just sold now.” Then they visualize that the sale has happened and how it feels emotionally at that moment.
The results have been surprising, so Dawn gave it a try. Her outcome was music to my ears and don’t forget, these applications can be used in a number of different ways.

You made the suggestion that I should try the idea that I’m selling a painting now, so I used the technique from your book, visualizing a sold painting in my future “movie.”
I imagined that I was in my future and looking at the at the wall at my gallery, and where my painting should have been, I saw instead that the hook it should hanging from was empty. And even better, there was a little sold sticker to the side of where my painting used to be.
I didn’t imagine a particular artwork of mine. I was just envisioning the wall where my work was hanging and in that place, the empty hook.
That’s not all I did. I said some prayers asking for abundance and financial assistance as well. You had mentioned that at the least, prayers are also intentions, and in the case of our prayers, they are heard.
The very next day I got The Call. It was a message from the gallery telling me that a large painting of mine had just sold.
I’m super excited and I’m very grateful to you for giving me that suggestion.
