Sometimes the Impossible Happens in the Last Hours

Sometimes the Impossible Happens in the Last Hours

It had been an extraordinary difficult time for me, far too much to go into here but I will tell you that my daughter had been seriously injured in a mass shooting. I left my job to care for her during her recovery and because of some additional personal complications, ended up being unemployed for two years.  She survived, thank God, but many others did not.

After such a long time out of the job market and being over 50, it appeared that my chances of getting a proper job to cover my expenses and house payment were slimmer than I thought. I know about manifesting and I was surely working it, prayers too. But after months of looking unsuccessfully, my bills were coming due and my finances were almost spent, including my next mortgage payment.

I was trying to think of every option when the idea of calling a certain friend came to mind. We had known each other for years, but hadn’t talked for almost a year. I had never asked him for financial help and I felt too ashamed to make that call, so I let it pass.

More prayers and manifesting followed that night. It was after working hours, so I couldn’t make any more employment calls. The night seemed darker than ever.

About two hours later, the phone rang and it was the same friend I had thought of earlier. He asked me how I was doing and I burst into tears because I was just overwhelmed. I brought him up to date and right off he offered me a small amount of funds to get me by for the moment. Then we started to go through my options again.

He asked the magic phrase, “If you could do anything you wanted to do, what would it be? I told him that it was imperative for me to do heart-centered work. I had just been through so much after that mass shooting and seen so much suffering and grief from the other parents, I felt the need to be of service to those that had recently lost loved ones.

It gave my friend an idea and he told me about a prominent mortuary in town. The owner was a good friend of his and he would call on my behalf in the morning. Then he asked, “When was the last time you went to the mall?” I laughed out loud and told him it had been a very long time. He laughed along with me and recommended that I manifest some prosperity. He wanted to know if I liked the scented soap from the French place and yes, I really do. Then he asked when was the last time I had a Starbucks. I laughed out loud again because money had been too tight to consider things like that.

He told me that he was transferring some money to me now and to do something special for myself the next day. I did what he recommended and went to the mall like I was a millionaire. I walked in and bought one of those exquisite bars of scented soap for $7.50 and then straight over to the Starbucks and treated myself to a special coffee just the way I liked it. I sat back in the chair and breathed in hope for the first time in what seemed like forever.

What happened next was beyond my dreams. Within days I was hired by the company my friend recommended. They are wonderful people and after 4 years of continuous employment I couldn’t be happier. My difficult, past experience has given me the empathy and wisdom to help many others in their grief. The work I do is extremely gratifying and feeds my soul every day.

By the way, when I asked my friend why he called at just the right moment those years ago, he told me that I had flashed into his mind and he had a very strong urge to call.He picked up the phone the instant it happened. I know it was not an accident.

We can make anything happen, but sometimes the help we need will appear for the asking.

I just buried my father and this part of my soul last Sunday. He had lived with me for 10 years and I had taken care of him. Now silence, cold, emptiness overwhelms my home and I scream for my daddy to just come home late in the night. One night was unbearable and he asked me to meet him outside in the cold at 3:30am and I did. Because I believe, he came home and I will be OK

      Hi Stephanie,
I have been thinking about you and I hope all is going well. If it is comfortable for you, I would love to know more about the story with your dad and use it for the Manifesting 123 newsletter. If you are willing, I would love to get more details from you to expand your loving experience or we can arrange for me to give you a call at a time that works best for you. Would you be interested? Either way, thank you for your reply and your kind consideration. By the way, I have been fortunate to have seen my parents and interact with them after their deaths as well. What a comfort it is for us.
All my very best to you,
      Ken
