The Incredible House Miracle, Part 1

This is a perfect illustration of what Manifesting 123 can do. It is in your power to do wonderful and seemingly impossible things. This story begins four years ago and just last week I heard how it ended. Enjoy the story so far and come back to hear the conclusion next Friday.

This is how it begins. (excerpted from Manifesting 123, page 111)

A few years ago, a younger couple I know called me. They had heard me discuss manifesting techniques previously, and were now in a jam over their mortgage. Could they come over and discuss manifesting again?

They have two wonderful children and their lives are centered in service to others. Each parent owns a single-employee business. Times were bad economically and their businesses had suffered mightily. They found themselves struggling to pay their mortgage held by one of the largest banks in the country. The three of us sat together and I offered all of the manifesting information you have read here. The couple returned home, inspired to do their Movie every day.

Three or four months later, a mutual friend indicated she had talked with this couple about financial matters and they mentioned my name. The mutual friend did not want to discuss these private affairs and recommended that I contact the couple right away. I was concerned about talking to them. What if I had given advice or information that was detrimental to them? I called and the husband told the most amazing story. The couple had been doing their Movie every day for weeks. In their Movies, each of them created a future in their perfect house without financial problems.

Still, business had continued to get worse and they found themselves two months behind in their mortgage payments.

They called their bank to admit the obvious: Money was owed and their financial future was bleak. Since each of their income streams was way down, the couple would be ineligible to refinance.  They were at the mercy of the bank and asked what could possibly be done to keep their house. The bank representative agreed to call the couple back shortly.

Not long after, the bank called with a surprising piece of information. Unknown to the couple, the bank had sold their mortgage to another organization and the couple would have to contact the new mortgage holder. The couple dutifully made the call. I can’t imagine what they felt with their house hanging by a thread. Keep in mind that the couple kept returning to their Movie every day.

They discovered the new owner of their mortgage was no longer in business! Now what? Who were they supposed to talk to?  Who were they supposed to make house payments to?  The couple continued their Movie newly inspired. Within a couple weeks, they coincidentally met an investigator for a group of lawyers. These lawyers specialized in the problems house owners were having with their mortgage holders. The investigator heard their story, made inquiries and came back with the most amazing news. The couple’s mortgage had been sold five more times and was being held by a company in Europe. Here’s the best part: The European company didn’t have paperwork solidly connecting the company to the mortgage!

A lot of back-and-forth ensued and finally, a court hearing was held in the couple’s county. At the hearing, a lawyer representing the European company was called upon to show evidence that the company owned this mortgage. The lawyer presented a computer spreadsheet listing the couple’s name along with a number of others as a list. “What is this?” the judge asked. The lawyer replied that the spreadsheet was proof that the company held the mortgage. “My 4-year-old could do this,” the judge responded.  “You have no standing in my court. Don’t come back until you have proper documentation linking you to this mortgage.”

At the time of this writing, the couple have been in their house for 2 years without making a mortgage payment. Their case is now part of a larger class-action suit. It’s highly likely their case will take some time to resolve, but in the meantime, their businesses are rebounding. Since there is no institution to pay, the couple is still living in their wonderful home and putting what would be the mortgage payment away into their personal savings account.

I asked them how they felt about the turn of events. They replied that what they were experiencing was virtually impossible.  They both felt their Movie may have had a lot to do with their situation, since every day they are in their perfect home without a financial hardship. If for whatever reason they lose this home, they feel sure their next home will be equal to or even better than their present house.

They have created a specific housing future that is taking them to their perfect conclusion. If it’s not this house, it will be another and another until the perfect home presents itself. This optimal house will be ideal physically with the right location and financially comfortable as well.

Here’s that phrase again, “Be careful what you ask for.” When I feel about anxious about a request, I ask anyway but add this comforting phrase, “I ask for these things to come with an ease and a grace.”

Don’t discount the “equivalent” of money or the “equivalent” solution coming your way. You could find that you have to pay less to live or you may come into some unexpected income. There are thousands of money equivalents that can present themselves. The equivalent of money spends just like money. Why settle for anything less than your ideal in whatever form it might take?

You’re looking for your perfect partner? The equivalent of your perfect partner may be you. You may find that perfect companion or you may become perfectly content on your own with a wonderful variety of supporting and entertaining friends.

 

Can it really be that simple?

It is amazing how this couple was able to avoid certain foreclosure and not make a mortgage payment for the last four years! Despite the odds, they are still in their perfect home and thriving.

This story, with all the impossible twists and turns is not over yet. They were just contacted by the holder of their mortgage and informed that the free ride is over.
