When Manifesting Gets Specific
C. writes:
I practice manifesting every day. One habit I picked up from the Manifesting 123 newsletter is to say seven things I’m grateful for each day. I’ve done this for years. One thing I’m always thankful for is the chance to help others. In fact, being of service is something I regularly manifest.
Like everyone else, I have a life to live, a job, and everyday tasks to take care of. One day, around 6 p.m., I had just finished running an errand and was heading home. As I was driving, a quiet but persistent thought popped into my head.
I’ve known for a long time that I have a bit of psychic sensitivity. I’ve learned to pay attention when something feels like a message. I’m not someone who uses these abilities in a public way—like on TV or radio—but now and then, I get what I call a “hit.”
That evening, I was a mile from home, thinking about what I had in the house for dinner. I was going through my options when a strange thought came to me: “Go to Taco Bell.” It was odd. I’ve lived in the area for five years and only been there once.
The urge felt unusual, almost like it wasn’t mine, so I wondered if it was some kind of message. It wasn’t a strong psychic signal, just a thought that wouldn’t leave me alone. It kept repeating, which I hadn’t experienced before. Usually, those kinds of impressions are subtle—easy to miss or confuse with my own thoughts.
Now just two blocks from building, I decided to follow the urge and turned into the Taco Bell parking lot. At first, I went toward the drive-through, but then felt like I was being nudged to go inside. I had no idea why, but I figured I’d go with it and see what happened.
Inside, a young woman was at the counter wearing a drive-through headset. She was the only person up front, so I gave her my order. She had some trouble with the ringing it up, and another employee came over to help.
That’s when I noticed she was wearing three sticker badges, the kind people wear at events. They were professionally designed and stuck together, upside down and overlapping a bit and showing the repeating text. From her looking down point of view, they clearly said the same phrase three times: “Big life, big life, big life.”
While they worked on ringing up my order, I started to get a feeling of what this visit might be about. Once the transaction was complete and the other employee walked away, it was just the two of us at the counter.
Following along with what this might be I said, “May ask you an unusual question?” She agreed and I asked, “Do you ever ask for things, pray for things, do vision boards, manifest things?” She said that she does pray for things. That opened up a conversation and so I asked her if she prays for other people and she said that she does. I countered back and asked if she ever prayed for herself. She said she didn’t and then I realized why I might have been lead there.
I’ve had this scenario happen a few times before, so I felt on good grounds to recommend that she pray for things just for her. “By all means,” I said, “pray for everyone else but continue to pray for things that benefit to you too, lots of things and don’t stop. Please keep asking for you too.”
I quickly explained to her that somehow I was guided to be here, and I didn’t know the reason why, but the way things unfolded, it appeared that I should do exactly what I just described for her benefit. I told her a couple times that she is watched over, and as it is with everyone, her prayers are heard.
Staying inside to eat my small meal, I watched her working the drive-through window. She didn’t have any problems with that particular register, and the second person came back and took over the front counter. It was very odd that I would walk into the Taco Bell at the exact time that she was apparently covering for someone usually working the front. I kept waiting for an opportunity for her to turn around so I could just wave and smile before I left, but she was too busy to do anything but work with the people at the drive through window.
This is certainly not something that happens every day, but hopefully, all went as it should. Thinking about it all while driving home, I humorously said to myself, “I think I just had a good day at the office.” Being of help is always part of my manifesting regimen and you never know what will happen next, sometimes with perfect strangers.
