Manifesting a Car Repair Quick, Not the Catastrophe

Manifesting a Car Repair Quick, Not the Catastrophe

From Joe:
I bought my daughter a 2010 Camaro when she was 16. Our agreement is that I get to drive it until she turns 20. I got a good deal on the car because the right rear driver’s side had a scrape that is a real eyesore. I was delaying the fix because the repair quotes came in at hundred of dollars.

I was intrigued with story at the end of Manifesting 123 about a waitress that asked to be hit by a car. You read it right! The idea was that she would get an accident settlement from the insurance company. It was a wild idea but I couldn’t get it out of my mind. The story of the waitress that got hit by a car. (She came out fine physically)

I kept coming back to the same thought, applying to my problem. If someone were to rear-end my car, that would pay the necessary repair on the Camaro.

The thought came up a number of times. When people were following me too close in traffic I would think to myself, what if they rear-ended me?

I drove to a Starbucks, parked in their lot and walked past the damaged place on my car. I looked at the damage to the rear and wished it looked better. It’s a perfect car except for that scrape.

Once again, I was considering the accident idea. It occurred to me that something really bad could happen if I was rear-ended in traffic. Am I crazy? I could get hurt and the other driver too! On the other hand, people bump into each other all the time in parking lots. What if the accident happened here?

Good idea. If my car is going to get hit, then it will not happen when I’m in the car. I felt pretty satisfied with this notion and headed into the Starbucks.

I got my coffee and headed out of the store. As I was coming out, I held the the door for an elderly gentleman. He went straight to the counter, talked to the barista about something and she pointed to me. What could this be about?

The man came over and told me he just hit my car. He backed into it right were the scratches were, denting up the area up pretty good. Unbelievable!!

He was very kind and apologetic, saying he thought he had more room to pull out of his parking space. I was doing everything I could do to keep from smiling and shaking my head in disbelief. He kept apologizing and I kept saying it’s not big deal.

He gave me his insurance information and I got the repair appraisal the same day. The outcome is that his insurance company will be paying for everything and the original damage will look just like new and not cost to me. I looked up at the sky and said half-jokingly, “Thank you Jesus!”

Did I manifest this because I repeatedly thought of this? I didn’t want to get hurt by being rear-ended. It would put me and the other driver in danger. What if they had kids? I wasn’t willing to have that happen, so I suppose I put a block on that thought, keeping it from manifesting. When I thought about the parking lot possibilities, I was all in for that safer scenario. It was stunning to watch it come to pass so quickly. I didn’t even finish my coffee!!
Joe

It was an ‘indirect’ plan but it worked very well.

When Joe was telling me this story we both started laughing and couldn’t stop. I kept interrupting and yelling, “What? No way!” It was one of those “going to slip on the banana peel” slap-stick reactions where somehow the tension hits your funny bone.

He kept coming back to the accident / solution idea for over a month or more. It just stuck in his mind and came into focus when he was in traffic. Fortunately he shifted to the idea of a parking lot scenario and within 15 minutes it occurred. What an amazing outcome by just thinking of it!

By the way, there are a lot of other ways to solve financial problems without second-party collisions. Just sayin.’

Yes, this event could be coincidental but it could also be a direct manifestation of his thoughts. Joe repeatedly sought a car repair solution by connecting it to an accident. It’s classic manifesting: repeat the thought and project it into the future.

This is a great example of how our thoughts literally build things and concepts with ease. It pays to monitor what we think and say, keeping our thoughts in line with our goals.

Note that Joe applied a tweak to his idea, substituting the parking lot idea. We can modify an idea or change our minds completely, anytime.

Please remember, we are all equally endowed with this great gift of creation. To paraphrase: Ask or think it and you will receive.
