Manifesting Everything on Her List

Kate Klingensmith “Last Light, Cozad” oil on canvas, 30 x 40 inches

This newsletter didn’t appear last Friday because the scheduled story about artist Kate’s Klingensmith continued to unfold at my home over the weekend. It was a hold the presses event.

Kate is very familiar with manifesting and last fall, she was imagining going out west and attending a master artist’s workshop.

After some research, she decided to do a 2014 workshop with the esteemed artist Albert Handell this June in Santa Fe. Money was definitely a problem, but a solution appeared in just a few months. It came in the form of jewelry Kate inherited from her mother’s estate. It took five years for the estate to settle, but now Kate had the opportunity and financial means to attend the class. What timing! Not. Something came up and her schedule conflicted with Albert’s workshop date.

There are many artists doing workshops, so Kate checked art magazines and internet listings for other options. That’s where she saw that I teach private art classes. She called me and a time was arranged for us to work together. My schedule was very tight, so I picked a time when another artist would be staying in my Colorado home at the same time. This artist would be conducting a workshop of his own at another location nearby. I figured the more artists the merrier and his away class would not interfere with ours.

It was all arranged and before her arrival, Kate and I had more conversations about art and discussions about manifesting. She bought the Manifesting 123 book and told me it focused her intentions even further.

Kate drove 12 hours to my home and we began her art class. At last, Kate was taking her art classes in the West, just as she planned it.

We worked in the studio together as she began a 30 x 40 canvas of an enchanting river scene. It was a large scale canvas for her. My job was to expose her to new ideas about making fine art and guide her through her painting. It was something along the lines of I would get her into trouble and gently help her out of it. Much would be learned and it would be a great experience.

When her oil painting was almost finished, my friend Camille happened by to visit. She saw Kate’s oil in progress and immediately inquired about purchasing it. How exciting! Kate spent the next day finishing the oil and it came out terrific.

Camille returned to view the finished oil and quickly decided to buy it. This was the first time Camille had ever purchased an original work of art. What an amazing outcome!

It was Kate’s manifesting plan to be a better artist and financially successful. She said that the time we spent together as artists vastly improved her skills and technique. So far so good. Kate’s immediate sale looks like a clear indication of how she is manifesting her future success artistically and financially… all in 48 hours!

By the way, the artist staying in my home was Albert Handell. Kate couldn’t take his workshop in Santa Fe but somehow Albert and Kate met anyway, both as guests in my home for a few days.

Through Albert’s generosity, Kate was invited to a very informative half-day painting demonstration with Albert’s class. It was just what Kate had been manifesting. Thanks to Albert, I was allowed to attend as well, so thank you Albert and to Kate who dreamed it all up!

Once the classes were complete everyone, mentioned here joined for dinner and celebrated. It was a memorable evening of fun and gratitude.

She got everything on her list

Kate set out to go west and take serious art lessons. She didn’t let a lack of money keep her from continuing to manifest that dream. She was manifesting two things: art classes that would help her improve artistically and allow her a very comfortable living as an artist.

She did some research and signed up for Albert’s class.

The money to fund Albert’s class came in an unexpected way. Kate didn’t limit or specify how the class would be paid, only that the money wasn’t a problem. What she received was like the equivalent of money – not funds from a job or painting sale but money just the same.

Then she hit a bump in the road. Her schedule wouldn’t accommodate a class with Albert Handell in Santa Fe. Kate wasn’t deterred because the money for a class was now available to her. She looked for other art class options, found me on the web and arranged for my private classes.

Great! That should be enough, right? When Kate arrived at my home, Albert was already there, a big surprise! How could that possibly happen? Through Albert’s generosity, we both attended his free painting demonstration. It was quite the art immersion for Kate and between Albert and myself, her art improved immediately.

Her manifesting list continued to produce. It was remarkable how Camille stopped by for a visit and unexpectedly bought Kate’s painting as soon as it was finished.

Everything on her list came to pass. Kate, don’t stop manifesting now!
