How Could A Home on the River Flow to Me?
We are well past 200 stories in this newsletter and each one is extraordinary and special in its own way. Some outcomes seem larger than others but that’s not the point. People are asking for things or concepts and they are seeing results. Fast or slow, big or small, whatever they repetitively put their minds to began manifesting in their lives. This is the book that explains how your thoughts actually create form and shows you a very efficient way to make it work. Ken M. writes: My husband and I had lived in a large, Victorian home for many years. Since it is just the two of us, I felt that it was a lot of space inside and outside, making it difficult to maintain. He was happy with the house as it was and I never could get him to consider downsizing. My suggestions went on for 2 years, but he was very set on staying in the big house. After meeting Ken and hearing him speak about his book, I made other plans. For whatever the reason, I always wanted to live right on the N. River in Massachusetts. It was a big dream of mine but an impractical one because houses on that river get a big premium. But after hearing about Manifesting 1,2,3 and some of those success stories, I decided to put it to work for me. After two years of waiting for something to happen, I took it on myself to take action. Here is what I did every night at bedtime. I would imagine that I am in some future time, living in the perfect home on the N. River with my husband. It is just the right size, a beautiful river property with an art studio for me and the right kind of workshop area for my husband. In this future of mine, everything worked out financially somehow and we are very happy to be there. In my mind this is all taking place in an imaginary future. The home has already happened, we are living in it and after my pleasant vision I always say how grateful I am and thank God for making it happen. That’s it. Sometime later I got on the computer because I had the urge to look at houses. In the past there hadn’t been anything interesting to consider. This time was different. With very little effort, a home came up with a N. River location. It was smaller with an amazing art studio space and ample room for a workshop. It seemed just right and I was very surprised that the price wasn’t extravagant. I told a close a close friend about it and to my surprise, she owned it years ago as an investment property! The present owner was doing the same, having bought the house recently. He made some cosmetic improvements, nothing major and put it back on the market to flip it. My friend and I arranged to see the house and I was absolutely struck. It was that perfect home on the river! I fell in love with it, took pictures and sat on the idea until the perfect opportunity came up to show my husband. I kept up my nightly vision of living there, put together photos of all the good features he would like and stayed patient. One evening I was on the computer and he came over to chat. That’s when I told him about the river house. He didn’t say a word at first but then he asked to see the photos I’d saved. He liked it! In a very short time we toured the house together, bought it and moved in. During the move, I found an old etching hidden behind a table. I had completely forgotten about it. My friends and I all agree that it looks like the river view from the back of our present home. Here is a photo of the etching and a bit of the big, backyard view. There is another art connection to our new home… Several years ago, and before we purchased the house, I painted the N. River flowing under the bridge to our home. That painting was exhibited at a prestigious, national art show. Little did I know that I would be living there someday. This looked so impossible but I manifested it anyway. I am continually blessed each day to be living amongst nature, wildlife and the river. The house is not the only thing that I have made happen and my friends have noticed. Ask, Allow Some Space, and Love Finds a Way
Here is a most improbable love story. Chris understands how to make things happen and how to stay out of her own way. Her happiness and balance came first and by staying true to that, her intention for a loving partner was free to arrive by any path, even a most unusual one. Ken Chris writes, After my divorce years ago, I thought very hard about what I desired to happen next.I was fine on my own but it would be very nice to find my heart’s companion. After some serious self-reflection, my plan would be first to be happy and whole on my own. Next, I would use what I know about manifesting and put it to use in a powerful way. I bought a pouch and put these carefully considered items into it: My dad’s wedding band to honor my belief in marriage and for sobriety.My dad was a good man and an alcoholic. That gene was passed onto me and in time, I overcame that difficult addiction. A key to my home, for trust. A small, bronze heart, for my belief in love and that I could give my heart again. From a magazine, I cut out a picture of a very large diamond, for the idea that I would be with a very giving person and that he would treat me like a princess. My intention being done, I put the pouch up on the shelf and said a prayer that it would be done. Six months later, I allowed myself a trip to Palm Springs, CA to have some free time for myself and to be with friends there.I hadn’t been dating and the idea of being single in Palm Springs was a bit disconcerting. It is important to note that I wasn’t searching for that companion and love. I was free from the idea of being lonely and incomplete without a partner. The pouch was done, my intention was made and a supporting prayer was said, so I confidently went to California without a pause. I felt all that was necessary had been done. All was fine on my trip until a local friend want me to meet him at a popular restaurant.He was a friend, not a romantic possibility. The idea of the restaurant and its popular bar didn’t bother me or make me uncomfortable either. There was no way I would order a drink. Instead it was the possibility of meeting other men that night. The idea made me anxious, so before heading out I said another prayer, this one was to my deceased father. I asked for his help and protection. The gist of it was to keep any crummy men away. Enough said and off I went to this very high-end restaurant for a nice evening. The place was packed and everyone was diverted into the bar until their tables were called.There was only one chair at a high-top table available, so I joined three strangers there, two women and one man. I noticed some interesting things. The man was not drinking alcohol and the women at the table left, leaving the two of us there. The person I was going to meet appeared briefly, but was pulled away, leaving me in a bar with this stranger. When I asked him why he wasn’t drinking, he told me he had been sober for a number of months. I replied that I had been sober for 30 years and our conversation went from there, running into hours. I told him that perhaps he was my angel. By the way, if he was drinking that night, I wouldn’t have bothered to have a conversation. I was quite the connection and we agreed to continue to spend more time together.We were really good together and in a short time we fell in love. We built a beautiful, solid relationship and three months later, he proposed. It all felt right and I said yes, Then I showed him my special pouch and its treasures. Back at my home weeks later, this wonderful man, Ben, was sitting on the couch going through a magazine with one of my dearest female friends. As they were skimming through the magazine together, Ben noticed a fashion ad… he worked for that company. But there was something odd about it. The ad showed a photo of a man but part of the page was missing, a hole torn out of the man’s shoulder. Wondering what that could possibly be about, they turned the page and on the back was a full-page diamond ad. That is where I got the photo of the diamond ring for my pouch. It was quite the moment… Looking back, I made my intention clear mentally, physically with objects in the pouch and with my prayer.Then I went forward into my new, single life without getting in the way of my own happiness So, what happened here?I met my “fashion man”in a bar of all places,where we would never gather on our own or drink. The people we were supposed to be with that night drifted off for whatever the reason, leaving us to ourselves. It all worked out nicely because we have been married for 20 years now, a marvelous proof of the power of thoughts, prayers and love. A little patience and some humor is helpful too. Fixing Problems in Advance. Stephen’s “Daily Treatment”
There is some valuable information in this story and as it unfolded, I noticed two points that are easy to miss. Notice that Stephen is making affirmations and intentions set in the present and in his future. The second is his advice against being annoyed or bothered by the present situations. His intentions are for a future where things are already worked out in advance somehow. I was much surprised to read his story because last month I had the same garage door problem and his financial solution mirrored mine: the immediate sale of our artworks. This might be advice worth taking! Oh, and one more thing. click here to watch the Monster House garage door in action! Ken Stephen writes: I was raised in a religion where it seemed to be normal (or expected of you) to pray for yourself daily. This was sometimes referred to as a personal ‘daily treatment’. I am no longer active in this church, although I acknowledge the good things I gleaned from it. My daily treatment is a little different nowadays, influenced a little by folks like Ken Elliott and his book, other thinkers, and my own experience. It might include affirmations like this: “My life is characterized by ease, grace and harmony. Health, wealth, love, abundance, fulfilment, interest, variety and wonder are mine. That which I need comes to me whether it is sustenance, people, circumstances, objects, ideas, inspiration or funds”. We moved into our current home about eight years ago. We have an automatic garage door and it has always been noisy when opening. Sometimes it would stall. Adjustments were made to it, but it always irked us. About a week ago the door lifter mechanism failed in a spectacular way. We got an expert to look at it and he immediately informed us that the springs in the lift mechanism had never been big enough to properly compensate for the weight of the door. We were told that it would be maybe a week before they could install a new lifting system. We were a bit peeved that the original installer did not do the job correctly. This mistake was now going to cost us over $1000. It was also tempting to be bothered by the ‘fact’ that the door could not be fixed immediately. However, we know that it is not helpful to be annoyed or anxious. I sent an email accepting the repair quote and within a very short time I got a phone call to say that there had been a cancellation. Our job could be done that afternoon. The cost of the installation was $1358.27. The next day my wife, Jackie, was operating our collective art gallery in the city and sold two of our pieces for a total of $1360. The new garage door opener is a ‘Whisper Drive’ and it is certainly true to its name. Besides being a more than adequate repair, it is wonderful to operate and we had a ‘bonus’ keypad installed on the outside of the house so that we can let family members have access without giving them keys. Plus, the new device has a battery backup so it can work during a power outage. It has been a good experience and a perfect example of how our thoughts can create beautiful outcomes and futures. Here’s a Manifesting Story: “I Wish I Could Die”
That is the story introduction I heard from Katie last week. It’s a shocker but it should be told. This is a true story and a strong reminder to watch our thoughts and actions. Before going any further, if you or someone close to you is expressing a tendency to suicide, you can quickly have someone to talk to here: National Suicide Prevention Hotline. Don’t wait another second to contact them. Here’s some information from previous newsletters that people have found very helpful: First, Eliminate What You DON’T Want in 2018 and Here’s the Whole Toolbox for Working On Those Worries and Stresses We can do better with the problems we have and even eliminate or lessen others in advance. Thank you, Katie for this important story. Ken Katie writes: I worked in a corporate setting for a number of years with the same boss. As it is with any job, some days are better than others but that is what we get paid to do. It wasn’t terribly difficult work and we were in a comfortable office environment. It is what you would expect in just about any job like that. Except… There was a jarring difference. Sometimes my boss would react to some work difficulty by saying, “I wish I could die.”It stunned me every time she said it and I never got used to it. I understand the power of words and I am a proponent of manifesting. Was she literally asking to die? Ken and I talked about it and of course we couldn’t say that was exactly the case, but we did agree that a repetitive thought that was emotionally loaded is the key to creation. Why make a gamble like that? Her statement had even more power because it affected the rest of us. It wasn’t only jarring to me, it had a negative impact on the office as well. Our boss, the one that leads us forward, was throwing her hands up and it was discouraging for us to see. There is a management term, “Managing Down.” It means if your boss gets a piece of bad news from her boss then it’s not helpful for your boss to just pass the pressure on. Instead, your boss should manage the bad news, perhaps by presenting to the staff with the idea of working together to find solutions. Capitulation to the point of expressing a death wish to someone is even worse than managing down, it’s an escalation that few of us can or want to deal with.When it is seriously stated, and it was, it is truly a shock to the system of the speaker and all within hearing distance. Sadly, my boss recently died of a fast-acting cancer that took her life in a few, short months. She was in her late 50s. Did she do this to herself? There is now way to know but I can attest to a great many positive things in my life that came about from some combination of just asking or actively praying or manifesting. I just had to put this story out there for others to hear. Now I Am Falling Upward! Part 2
Emily had been working to manifest two important things for some time. In the first part of this story everything worked out beautifully. Now for the next important item, a better home with a garden on the 1st floor… it’s a bit complicated, but as Emily said, she knows what to do. Here is part 2 of her story. Ken Emily writes: Last week my manifesting storyappeared here with concerns about my health and employment problems.I had been let go by my employer after a bad fall at home. I felt compelled to file a discrimination suit after receiving evidence of such and after almost 2 years, I won the suit with terms more favorable than I could have imagined. During the time before the settlement I had increased my prayer and manifesting efforts to bring about two major changes: that the suit would be resolved successfully and for a new home. I live modestly with my 11 year old son in an 11th floor apartment building. My dream and hope for some time has been to have a ground floor home with a garden. Since I have been combining manifesting and prayers for years, I knew what to do and went right to work the idea of my new home.In my future I visualized that it had a white door with glass panels, a golden door handle and the #6 on the door. Here’s the tricky part.I live in England and thankfully, they have an assisted housing program. I am a part of that now, thank goodness, but it is very difficult to change locations or move to a better place. I had put in for a change with the Housing List almost 2 years ago and after the successful lawsuit I was newly optimistic.I strongly felt that my prayers and manifesting practices resulted in that positive settlement outcome after two difficult, but survivable years. That success made me think – where am I on the Housing List today?I went online and I have to say that I was much surprised and delighted that I was now eligible to look at new places! There are always thousands on the list but today it was my turn, after waiting for soooo long! I went online and found 2 good choices on the Housing List website and made offers on both.Then there was the electronic wait…. I was approved!! For the first home there were two offers in front of mine and I quickly learned that it one of those offers had been taken. For the second home there was one offer before mine and regardless, I went to look at the home. The person with the first offer would be there shortly to look as well so I had to wait my turn, leaving me with time to kill. I had immediately noticed the white door, glass panels and the interesting address and looking around later I found the nice, cozy garden.Time to get to work on getting this house! I visualized that this was the new home for me and my son and that we enjoyed our time there and while I was walking / pacing around, I prayed to God that my best and highest good be done here. That’s when I found a feather and gold key together in the garden. Did I just get this home?? After a time I went back inside and the owner said that the other person never showed up, so the home was ours!But it doesn’t stop there. My son likes the school he is in currently, but he much preferred another school, one at too great a distance for him to attend. Our new home is just around the corner from that favored school! I still can’t stop with this.My fall resulted in a spinal injury. I can walk, but with difficulty so it’s important to have a couple of features in any new home: little or now stairs and support rails in the shower and tub. Since this is that perfect home come true, it has that as well. Shortly after viewing the new home, my 24 year old son brought me a beautiful gift, an angel painting to hang inside.I should mention that my eldest visualized and prayed with me. He saw himself drinking a cold frappe in the garden. Here’s a photo of the door to my new home.It’s all there just as I visualized it except for the #6, it is #99.I like it even better! Now I Am Falling Upward! Part 1
Emily got a bad break and it cascaded into even more problems, but Emily never gives up because she knows she has the tools to turn things around. She feels that her prayers and manifesting / visualizations are making things happen. I do too! Ken Emily writes, Let me point out that I am someone much attuned to prayers and have been manifesting for sometime now.We all have our ups and downs but I am never far from another prayer or my daily manifesting script. In September of 2016, I had a very bad fall at home resulting in spinal and wrist issues that took away my ability to walk properly and to type.As a result, I was unable to properly do my job. My employer met with me to see if there were other tasks I could do.There was some movement in that direction but after a final meeting and subsequent report, I was let go. There is more to this story, but along the way I obtained a legitimate proof of discrimination against me and accordingly, I filed suit. These suits take a long time to settle so I had to find a way to move forward. I struggled financially during this period but never gave up as I prayed and visualized the universe was helping me gain what was necessary to get by.It has been a difficult situation for a single parent and the stress was pretty high. Eventually anxiety attacks began and my walking problems were not getting better. I have continually been praying and manifesting for good solutions and in the meantime, just doing what needs to be done as if I have a normal life. I know to ask for things and stay with it because I’ve seen too many answered prayers and wonderful manifestations in my life. When things get difficult we often find ourselves more focused on our problems.Well, I had my share of difficulties and I used that focus to conscientiously visualize that my best and highest good would be done in this and that it would turn out well. It was a non-specific but high-reaching request. There are a lot of ways for any of us to be in a good place in life without having to plan every detail and that was my plan. It has been awhile, but of the blue things took a positive turn this week regarding a new home to rent.I decided to contact Ken with the good news and we made a phone appointment. But to my surprise, what I wanted to share with him was preempted the day before with even more extraordinary news! Let me first explain that in January of this year I learned that my discrimination suit had been decided in my favor. That’s a very positive start but the system allows for the case to be reconsidered. Should I successfully get through this second phase, I would receive a settlement. All of this takes a lot of time and a potential settlement was not something I could count on. So the good home news intended to share was overwhelmed by an even better outcome.I shared with Ken that I just received news telling me my discrimination lawsuit was upheld a second time and a monetary amount been decided upon. It was considerably more than I had first offered to settle for and I was very happy to get it! Things are looking up in a very big way and I feel fortunate to know that many of my prayers have been answered.I can clearly see that what I have been visualizing and manifesting is quickly coming into focus. I feel my health is improving slowly but steadily and I am filled with gratitude for all that has happened on my behalf and for my son. It is easy to fall into hopelessness but it is also just as easy to pray and manifest solutions.Never give up! How Quickly Can I Manifest Three Important Things? Part 3
This is part three of Miranda’s terrific story and the third hurdle to overcome. Ken View part 1 View part 2 Miranda writes: This has been a tricky road for me, so let me explain. I am a single parent, 44 years old and my girls and I have been using the bus for work and school for years. Fortunately, I have been getting better and better jobs and we are now in a much better place financially, but without that car. In the previous part of the story I explained the difficulty and expense to pass the driver’s license test and then there was the unexpected rent increase announcement of $600 a month! Miraculously, that was rescinded with the remarkable help of my young daughter. On the very same day that the rent was taken care of, I received a tax refund check.I had been in dispute with the agency for years and I was repaid in full, $10,000! I was very focused on the goal of having that new car and apparently it is being manifested in quick time! As I learned in the book, I manifest every day and I send out prayers for those things I request to be done.I use gratitude constantly and I have a vision board with those same items illustrated with photos. Further, I wrote on the board, “Thank you Jesus, I am the proud owner of my SUV.” I was going to need help in getting the best vehicle for my family and me. Months before I had looked into getting some kind of very cheap, used car but the deals always fell through. I got the feeling that I was supposed to go for a much better one, and now that the refund check appeared, I was magically in a position to do just that! Help would be needed from a trusted dealer or person to bring me the right car and to take care of all the necessary paperwork and license plates.These small necessities are very difficult to take care of when you are working full-time and have only the bus for transportation. Oh, and one more thing. I had been visualizing one nice, purse just for me, sitting on the front seat of my new SUV. I quickly found just the vehicle from a good dealership and gave me a very fair price, even going the extra mile to take care of all the registration and license plates without my waiting in line at the government office for them. I got the car and driving out of the dealership with my perfect SUV was an amazing experience. The car is in really good shape and the interior is immaculate, almost identical to the photo here. My entire manifesting took 14 days for everything to fall into place! I was incredible to see a big money problem disappear on the same day that a big check arrived. That is hard to believe but it is what I was working toward, not knowing how the financials would be solved. Oh yes, I also have a bit of budget to buy that attractive purse for the front seat. How Quickly Can I Manifest Three Important Things? Part 2
Here’s were we left off with Miranda’s story in Part I: Miranda successfully passed her drivers test in Canada. She is 44 years old and for the very first time, she is looking for a good, used car to purchase. If all works out well, she will no longer have to get up at 4am to catch a bus for work. There is a budget for her and her three daughters so Miranda has to be smart about this. To complicate things, she just found out that her apartment has announced a sizable rent increase. So on the same day that she took her driver’s license test, she put a plan in motion using prayers and manifesting to fix the rent increase problem and to create a way to purchase a great, “new’ used car. Ken Miranda writes: I had already sent out the prayers and had been manifesting that the rent increase and car would be taken care of. Solutions needed to happen fast, beginning with the rent increase problem. Shortly before the day of my driver’s test, I put a plan in for the rent solution, that I would pass the drivers test and be able to purchase a good car. Early that morning I caught the bus for work and I would have to patiently wait until after work that day to see if my rent plan was successful. It was a good day because during my lunch break I passed the drivers test! Now for the rent and car solutions. Earlier I had written a note to my landlord and gave it to my teenage daughter to personally deliver on the same day as my driver’s test. In it I explained that I we been living there for seven years and as a single mother with three daughters, a $600 a month rent increase would be very difficult for me. I instructed my daughter to personally deliver it to the rental office after school. I also let her know that it was OK to cry when she delivered it. After my bus ride home that evening I was eager to see how it went at the rental office. My daughter told me that when she got to the office she had to wait her turn. It was a bit nerve-wracking she said but she hung in there. When she was called up to talk to the agent my daughter presented the letter and waited while the agent read it. After reading, the agent looked up and said, “OK, no problem.” It was just that simple. My daughter didn’t have to offer anything further. We can continue living in our apartment without any rent increase. How miraculous! I was thrilled. That done, I went to get the mail. Are you ready for this But just a second, let me explain about the car. First I need to get a driver’s license. Check. Then the money had to come from somewhere. I figured on a cheap, used care for about $2000. Every time I saw one to buy, the seller would flake out or the car would be sold before I could get back to the buyer. I began to think, “Maybe I’m not supposed to buy a care that cheap. I manifest a newer, more reliable, used car.” Lately I had been imagining myself in a really good used car and with some of the money left over, I also pictured that I had a very nice purse as well. I was manifesting a scene where I slide into the car’s front seat and place my lovely purse in the seat next to me. This is a scene I had repeated many times and on top of manifesting this outcome, I prayed that this would all come to be. I picked up the mail and to my surprise, there was an envelope from Revenue Canada. It’s like the American IRS. I felt they owed me a good bit of money and I had written and called them numerous times about it. It was difficult to get my idea across apparently, because they never took any action on my request and because it all transpired so long ago, I gave up on ever hearing from them again. What could be in the envelope, more work for me to do on the request? A final and complete rejection of my request? Well there was a letter all right, it was an explanation for the attached $10,000 check! Now I’m off to research a really good, used car for the girls and me. What a luxury to have a far greater budget to work with. I learned to go big and I’m still in awe that everything came together in one day!
