I Bottomed Out but I Rejected Negativity. Would Patience and Gratitude Work?

Liza writes: At our lowest points we need a different word for low. Every single thing that I had valued in my heart, physical and emotional, had been completely zeroed out from my heart. It had been wiped clean. I had lost my husband and I was about to be evicted from my home, widowed with no place to go. I was not well and couldn’t work at the time, so I had no income and no prospects. I knew about manifesting with vision boards and lists, but I didn’t have the energy to do anything except sit on the porch and continue to know it would be OK. Whatever had brought me to this point would get me to the next place and that it would be special. I absolutely knew in the depths of me that something would happen but I had no idea of the what or how, but I knew I would be OK. I would allow help and not succumb to negativity. The next day, that’s right, the next day, a friend that I had not heard from in several years called me. I was shocked to hear from her. She said, “I’m so happy to find you. Are you still doing artwork?” I was glazed and confused but I managed to say, “Oh yeah, of course I am.” She told me she had massive water damage in her home recently. She told me that the whole lower part of her house and many of the commissioned artworks I had completed years before were damaged. She asked if I would come up tomorrow and take a look at everything. Arriving the next day, I caught her up on my difficulties and she asked, “So where are you going to go?” I said, “I have no idea,” and she told me I could stay with her. This a mega, multimillion-dollar home with I don’t even know how many square feet. Every inch is immaculately designed and beautiful, a paradise. At the time, my soul was stripped down but I had just been offered a glorious place to live that was full of the art that I loved and we created together 15 years before. There were murals on the walls, ceilings and works on canvas from a peak creative time. It would be like a homecoming, so I said yes to her kind offer! I would have a safe place to stay. I had been rescued by an angel. The owner outlined a lot of work for me to do, repairing my wall murals and making new ones. It was going to take months and she wanted me to stay in her home the entire time while I worked on all of those projects. She provided home, shelter and food for me. She would ask me if I would do small errands for her like going to the grocery so I didn’t have the chance to completely collapse in on myself. In October of that year, I got a call informing me that my daughter was in hospice and that I was needed in North Carolina. My daughter had been sick off and on for over a decade but in the last year she had been critically sick. This was going to be hard for us after all the times she had rallied before and carried on. Three very dear friends saw to it that I had an airplane ticket and within three days I was there in hospice with her. She passed a few weeks later, leaving me unmoored once again. I flew back to the same environment that thankfully offered me unconditional space to grieve, to work on the art projects, or whatever I needed to do at the time. There were always small things to keep me busy and to keep my mind going. Because of her understanding and grace, I wasn’t on a deadline, I was completely cared for and allowed to heal. Sometime later, I made the acquaintance of someone that helped to bring me out of my depths. It was like what happens to a drowning person that is given CPR and on their revival, they take that first breath, choosing to live. I began to do artworks for a gallery and larger mural commissions started coming in. I realized that earlier, I couldn’t visualize a future or ask or pray for solutions. Before, I didn’t have the ability to conceptualize anything, but not anymore. I began to imagine that I could find my next place to live and be able to support myself. All of that came to pass as well, but that’s another story! Throughout all of this, I kept going back to what it is that created me. The power that innately holds the cells in my body together, Source. It’s my feeling that I am one with source or God but it is God that does the work. My role is to do my best, reject negativity and be continually open and grateful. When I was in need, synchronicity kicked in at an extraordinary pace. My needs were food, shelter, compassion and a way to support myself. It was always provided, sometimes in the most amazing ways. I was always excepting it to be so and no matter what, I was always grateful.  Grateful, grateful, grateful! Bringing Home Baby’s Wish List

Anyone who has ever been responsible to provide for a new offspring or is the relative of an expectant parent, knows it involves multiple, high ticket items. As a mother involved in shopping for what used to be called a buggy or stroller, I have done some head wagging at the multiple and mind boggling varieties of what are now transportation ‘systems.’ So it was pure happiness to learn that such a system costing anywhere from $500-$1000, had been manifested from a total stranger who happened to be connected my daughter’s pupil at school. The number two necessity, again with many variations, was the crib. On a trip to a local Sears, we saw that this also required some thought. There is the standard crib or the transformer version that can become a head and foot board with railings. The cost ranged from $200 to $1000 plus, depending on what wood and finishes we preferred. What a pleasant surprise when a friend of a friend gifted her crib if we would just come pick it up! A bassinet is handy for those first few months when night feedings are ever present. You can put the infant right inside your bed and not get up for that feeding. Lucky us! We got this as a loaner from another friend along with a well-known device called the Rocker/Glider with a foot rest. It is a necessity for crying and feeding babies. The baby list is a long one. There are miscellaneous toddler items, such as a jolly jumper, a space flyer, baby gym, swinging chair, high chair and assorted other paraphernalia for occupying the baby when you are busy. Friends had these items in storage so they were freely given to free up their space. Clothing is another huge outlay. But again, this unborn infant is so provided for that the closet is overrun and two dressers are overstuffed. Thank you dear friends! When first realized the extent of baby items needed, my daughter was a little taken aback. Then I told her to remember Ken’s book, Manifesting 123 and how she recently manifested her condo and a tenant. She was convinced and got to work on her ‘Movie.’ Sure enough, the cornucopia of all things needed was amply provided. I’ll be the first to admit its not Ken’s power, or even his ideas really, since he is passing on what he has been taught the last 20 years. But since he wrote the book, we’ll give him some credit. 🙂 We feel ever so grateful to the Source of all things, that is the real power. And so it is…. Emily   The kindness of friends is not unusual… But the thing that gets our attention is when we hope or wish for an outcome and it happens again and again. I was so happy that Emily reminded her daughter to resume using Manifesting 123. The daughter had recently experienced great success in manifesting renters for her condo, so she was easily persuaded. Story here Soon, the daughter’s entire baby list was checked off with dresser drawers bursting. She successfully manifested the equivalent of a great deal of money. It was as if money grows on trees. The equivalent of money is a very important thing to understand. Here’s a really good story on the topic. Want to give your vision board or wish list a big boost? At Last, They Found Happiness, Part 1

Part 1 Since this series of newsletters began, there have been amazing manifesting stories in a lot of categories. People have manifested jobs, cars, houses, income and more. There are a number of relationships that have been manifested but the participants feel that those stories are still unfolding so they haven’t been talked about here, at least until now. This is an important story about a wonderful relationship. To be gentle with your feelings, I’ll tell you at the beginning that it was all too short. Cynthia is a lawyer. She is bright, professional and girl next-door cute. Her practice is a busy one. She represents people who were harassed, discriminated against, or unjustly fired from their jobs. It is challenging work and at times not as lucrative as she deserves, but it is her heart’s work. She has been single for some years now and after considerable thought, she decided to join Match.com, the online dating service. Her intention was to find that really good man with whom she would have the great and lifetime love with. Her bar was set very high and she let that be known on her online profile. She put a lot of effort into putting her best foot forward with her profile and very importantly, deciding what it is that she required in a relationship. Cynthia was creating a very large intention towards one goal: the best, loving relationship she can imagine. Then she went further. She prayed for it to be given to her. She had been on the dating service six months when she was saw Kevin’s profile. She wrote a short note to him and he quickly responded. He cleared the first hurdles with an ease, humor and vulnerability that she found attractive. He felt very comfortable with her as well and a flurry of emails ensued. Since they were communicating through the dating service, their true emails, last names and phone numbers were not revealed. It’s a standard protocol that provides a level of security for all the parties involved. A rich dialogue followed and their communication only became easier, opening up to wide variety of subjects. They were quickly beginning to know each other very well and their hearts were opening. Over the next few days they were in continual contact and wrote at least three long emails to each other every day. Kevin even changed his schedule, getting up earlier in the day so he could read and respond to Cynthia’s latest emails before going to work. In a very short time, they had spent countless hours getting to know each other better and further opening their hearts. They were realizing that this new relationship had real potential. Their needs, expectations and kind hearts were a real match. Each day brought new surprises, delights and comfort with one email following the other. Something wonderful was happening. They both talked about their tendencies to withhold information, to be careful in relationships. But the two of them had reached a new level and they were revealing themselves without the usual restraints. This was love emerging. They were both feeling things that they hadn’t felt in years. Kevin made the comment that only the young could feel this way, but obviously, his emotions were telling him otherwise. His feelings for Cynthia were enriching his life and at last someone was bringing Cynthia the happiness that she had been asking for. He said it was more than chemistry for him. It was magic, natural and fun. During this time, Kevin was in Tampa, FL on business. It had only been a week but it seemed like much longer. By mutual design, they still didn’t know each other’s last names or personal contact information. On Thursday morning, Kevin invited Cynthia to dinner at a mutually admired restaurant in Denver, Pappadeaux, and set a time six days away, Wednesday at 6 o’clock. Cynthia excitedly accepted and felt they would have plenty of time to exchange names and numbers, as well as world of other things that night, and for many others to come. Cynthia’s story will continue next week… Two people simply asked to be in a good and loving relationship. To have that relationship you dream of, just put forward the prayer, the intention. Don’t forget, someone else is doing the same and by asking, you are more than halfway there. Make your intention known every day and continue on with your normal life. Strive to be better in small ways. Perhaps you can treat those you meet as if you are with your perfect partner. Be aware that your good intention is forming, so act in attractive ways: just be kind, smile and get out a bit. Say yes more often because you have become the focus of your loving creation. Be patient and be ready. More of this remarkable story will follow Thanksgiving week.Let’s be grateful, Ken read part 2 Do you have a story of your own to share? Send it to Ken
