The Groom’s Amazing Manifestations and One More Lovely Story

First a disclaimer. Sometimes things are just too good to be true. We have plenty of ups and downs in our lives and see plenty of bad news in the media everyday. There is plenty of good news to go around each day, but for whatever reason it doesn’t reach us as often. So to finish out 2013, here are some great stories. I know Emily and Ted. They have manifested some amazing things this year, some of which they have shared with us here. Emily writes: This week my husband Ted came home from a shopping expedition with this story. Ted recognizes that manifesting can happen in a variety of ways. Our passport saga this summer was quite an eye opener for him, and ever since we have been aware of what our thoughts can manifest. There are three parts to this story and each one is amazing in it’s own way. All of these things happened within a three-week period. Ted has been sharing this story with everyone. When I heard it I felt so happy for this guy it was almost like it was happening to me. I know the family, but Ted knows them best. All in the family are shining folk with nothing but love on their faces. You never hear a discouraging word from them. One of the family members is a young man about to be married. This is his story. He wanted very much to give his bride the wedding of her dreams. She was someone that had always wanted a big wedding with all the trimmings and she has a large family with many friends. He decided to enter a contest to get for her exactly what she wished for. He did not have to wait long. He was overjoyed when he got the phone call telling him he was the winner of the contest! It would provide them with the dream wedding they had hoped for. This young man was a big dreamer as Ken advises all of us to become. He really wanted the best for himself and his new bride. Not merely a dream wedding but the best he could provide for her AFTER the dream wedding too! So what did he do? He wasn’t content to simply rest on his laurels, so he entered another contest to win even more money. The very next week, he learned he was the chosen winner of ten thousand dollars! Well, he thought, I’m on a roll, I think I will go out and purchase a lottery ticket. Here’s the big pause… He didn’t win the lottery. BUT, he got enough correct numbers to win one hundred thousand dollars! This young man, to the best of my knowledge has not read the book, or any book about manifesting. What he had going for him, as it was told to me, is that he has a huge heart. He is very kind and generous to all his friends, dear ones and nothing but the best will be good enough for the one closest to his heart. As Ken related it from Judy Goodman in his book, when you are sending a gift from the heart, it always arrives. One More Lovely Story Emily continues: There is another miracle for Xmas in our own family. Our daughter has been wanting a child for several years. Her older brother has 3 and most of her friends have two or more. Recently, she went to a clinic where they told her after several tests that at thirty-seven with her below average results, it would take her six or seven attempts and she would likely not be successful. I decided to try a healer who said he could assist, Jerry Wills. I read a book about him where a Peruvian shaman prophesied him to be as an angel who has come to heal all our hurts. On his web site I saw many testimonials, including one where he helped a person who was about to be taken off life support, written off by the medical profession. Jerry brought him back to health and the man suffered no lasting effects from his almost terminal injuries. I contacted Jerry and asked him a quick question, “Can you readjust infertility?” He answered just as quickly, “Yes.” Once he finished his efforts with my daughter, he said, “You will be able to conceive on the first try,” and indeed, she did. Somehow we found a way to a solution after years of trial and asking in a number of ways. Her success and the baby to be are our Christmas miracle. Best wishes, Emily and Ted That is a lot to consider. Thank you Emily and Ted for graciously sharing both of those encouraging stories. We are empowered to create. Everything around you was thought first. Your thoughts can create anything and they do. It is up to you use them to your advantage. This is not a trying or going-to exercise. Just begin, move forward and put your birth-right, your thoughts to work for you. Now is faster than later! As I explain in the book and in my radio interviews, all of your prayers, wishes, lists, and vision boards are layers upon layers of thought. Each of your intentions, in whatever form, start to create the very thing in the unseen field around you. This is a revelation. Know that all your intentions are essentially making a mold and filling it. Once this process is complete, your creation will move into your place in the physical world. This is not hoping and waiting, but a process of creating your desire every day until it is done. It sounds to good to be true as well, but it is a natural law and everyone can do it. You can learn about it in my book or listen to the interviews – people say they have never heard it more simply or powerfully explained. Pray, wish or ask from your heart, but take

What Was Manifested and a Joke by an Ex-President

What a year it has been! I’ve taken the time to look back at what has been manifested out of thin air, and I am very grateful. So much has happened but I’ll use the the Manifesting 123 book as an example. For two years I talked about writing this book. Every day I had been talking about Manifesting to someone, sometimes many times a day. People would then say, “You need to write a book about this.” “Of course I will. I’m working on it now,” I would say. But actually I was goona, shouda, kinda working on it in my head but nothing was put to paper. At the time, I was doing the techniques in the book but there wasn’t enough time in the day to sit down and write a book. Heck, I had never written a book before, so I had ample reasons not to even start. Then I had an idea. Part of the Manifesting technique is to imagine you are in your future and that all is well, so to speak. Hmmmm… so I imagined that in my future, my time is perfectly synchronized between what I’m here to do, my careers, relationships and I added own personal time. It didn’t take long. Within a few weeks I realized that I was getting to bed earlier an playing solitaire on my iPad. I LOVE that solitaire and it had been a year since I had that kind of play time. Then it hit me. I had a been enjoying a LOT more personal time recently. Heck, I could use this extra time to write the Manifesting book. The book wrote itself. I dictated it into the computer and immediatelly a close friend recommended everything I needed from an editor to printer. Suddenly the book was complete and physically in my hands within 4-5 weeks! Manifesting is now an everyday event for me and many others who have read the book. We commonly create good things for ourselves, live happier and with much less worry than ever before. Take a look at the stories that have resulted on the Manifesting 123 stories page, pass them on and make your own. You may want to take a little time to hear the one-hour radio interview I did today with Kathy Bacon today. It explains how simply the Manifesting 123 techniques are. No special skills are required so anyone can be good at this – and they are! A Holiday Story Years ago, I watched Jimmy Carter tell this joke on the Jay Leno show. Thank you President Carter! So a man dies and goes to Heaven. St. Peter is standing in front of the Pearly Gates with a question for the man. “What have you done for your fellow man?””This is hard” the man replies. “Give me a sec. OK, I remember. A couple of years ago, I went to my closet and put on my favorite shirt, but it didn’t fit, so I gave it to Goodwill.” “Really,” St. Peter said, Did you get a receipt?” “I did.” the man said proudly. “So what did they say the shirt was worth?” “50 cents.” St. Peter raised his eyebrows then paused and asked, “So is there anything else?” “This is really difficult.” the man replied. “I need time. Hang on, um… yes! I remember, it was last Christmas eve and I was walking down the street at night. There was a man begging for money. I went right past him and thought, it’s Christmas, so I came all the way back, it must have been a block and I gave him money. “So what did you give him?” St. Peter asked. “50 cents!” said the man. St. Peter turned to the angel next to him and said, “Give him his dollar back and tell him to go to Hell!” OK, most of us could use a bit more compassion for others in need, but I also want to gently remind you to be more generous to yourself as well. I meet so many people that are always asking for others and not for themselves. You wouldn’t be stingy with others, so don’t be a Scrooge with yourself. Besides, the more you have, the more you will be inclined to share. That is the nature of your kind heart. Perhaps that would make a nice resolution for your very special New Year. Most Sincerely, KenDo you have a story of your own to share? Send it to Ken

A Santa Secret for You and a Miraculous Story

click to view the Santa video on YouTube Funny, I had been wanting to get my picture taken with Santa this year and it had been over 50 years since the last one. I was thinking about just how to do it. I could go to the Mall, but I wouldn’t. The Santa photo just kept coming up. It was a thought and a wish of sorts, but not something I was really working on. Within a week I found out that a Santa would be where I get my hair cut. I was all in! So last Saturday I want to see the owner Paul and got my photo taken with Santa. What fun!As it so often happens, I got much more than I bargained for. Santa was Dr. Mike Rudnick, a delightful man. Since we had time to chat, he told me a Santa secret, VERY cool and I asked him what he wanted. He was much surprised, since that is usually his role. He said that no one had ever asked Santa that question before. We had a great time and yes, I did get my picture taken and Santa got a Manifesting 123 book so polish up his wishes with. It was all great fun and I’d recommend meeting up with Santa much sooner than every 50 years or so.Santa told me a wonderful story. It’s about a very young girl in Juarez, Mexico that was very sick. Many prayers were offered for this little girl and there was a marvelous result. Dr. Rudnick and his wife are a part of a church group that goes to Juarez in the summers, volunteering services to those in need there. As he mentions in the video, “It is different there.” This young girl was threatened my an illness that would not be fatal in the US and she could easily get treatment in a US hospital. Unfortunately, access to the proper drug or a Juarez hospital were possible and this little girl had precious little time to live when Dr. Rudnick saw her.Santa tells the story in his 6.5 minute video here. Remember, Santa has a cool secret to share!Thank you, Santa for allowing me to film and pass on your story. Thank you as well Paul, owner of the Spellbound Salon for fixing me up with Santa. Sweet! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! It just occurred to me that not only have I had a wonderful year, but somehow manifested Santa himself. Hmmm… look at what we can do!Thank you all for your support of this little big Manifesting book, your stories, and for passing the word on to your friends. Good things have happened, lives have been changed and joy is in the air. I wish that all your beautiful dreams, prayers, wishes and intentions come true with sugar plums on top! Most sincerely, KenDo you have a story of your own to share? Send it to Ken

Work Crisis! Manifesting the Perfect Person

by Andrea Chilcote The following post appeared originally on The Spirited Woman where Andrea is a weekly blogger.  I often write about “ease,” and the preponderance of everyday miracles. And I have written many times of the power that managing our thoughts and feelings has on the outcomes we achieve. I strive to walk my talk, and on some days I’m more successful at doing so than on others. Putting forth the effort and energy to maintain the resonance of what we desire, vs. dwelling on what appears to be a negative circumstance takes focus – and faith. Here’s a short story for illustration. I own and operate a very small business. A few weeks ago, an employee of 15 years resigned to pursue an offer that utilizes her many years of experience, and at the same time allows her to do new things in an area that is important in her life. I was and am truly happy for her, and yet my first thought was a very emphatic “Yikes!”  Her work here is mission critical, and we are (as is true most of the time) in the middle of a critical project. And the role requires a unique skill set. On the morning she gave notice three weeks ago, I was immediately aware that I had a choice. I could allow myself to feel stress, and thus create a stressful condition. Or I could view the situation as one more opportunity to see and seek the opening door vs. dwell on the one that was closing. I chose the former. Armed with a positive vision, I went into motion. I sent a brief description of the role to several trusted friends, and began making a plan for transition activities. Even though I was busy without this added task, time seemed to expand to allow for it all. As I write this post, I sit across the room from my new employee who is spending her first day with me. She was the first to inquire about the job, and the only person I interviewed. Seemingly out of nowhere, the apparent perfect person materialized. Since the day she magically appeared, I have had moments in which I’ve second guessed the synchronicity. But I’ve managed to banish those thoughts as my very real due diligence (interviews, references and skill assessments) has proven, once again, that it doesn’t have to be hard to be right. If there is a burden you bear at this moment, you know intellectually that your thoughts and feelings about it are conspiring to determine the outcome. Shifting the energy that you carry requires discipline. It also requires faith. Faith is the burden-carrier, releasing the mind from over-analysis and fueling the effort required to take right action. Let it go, and watch what happens next. We are all creating with our thoughts all the time. Point yourself to the outcomes you want! Monica Demattei is the new employee described in the story and her boss, Andrea wanted to share it with you. Thank you both! About that Faith. It is not absolutely necessary, but it doesn’t hurt. Andrea made her plan with a positive vision. Positive is good also but the vision is prime. Make your vision a good one and even better, visualize it in your future. That’s the #1 of Manifesting 123. Have you ever noticed that sometimes your manifestations happen so quickly there wasn’t time to even consider faith or positive thinking? This newsletter is full of amazing outcomes and some happen very fast. View the story archives. Your thoughts can create the the future you desire, so go for it! Don’t trip up on your worthiness, or your faith and positive thinking score. Do the 123 in the book or listen to one of my recent radio interviews where I give you the details. Make your list and check it twice! KenOh… those are not Monica’s pants. 🙂 Do you have a story of your own to share? Send it to Ken

Manifest the Shortcut at Work

I had a wonderful manifestation that I thought I’d share with you all. This has been a tremendously stressful time at work. With the Holidays we have plenty of work to do, if not more and all of us on staff take more time off, increasing the load. Fortunately I asked and got approval to get someone to work 10 hours a week to help out. What a response! I got 53 applicants in just four days. I haven’t been able to look at the resumes at all because I’ve been so busy. This afternoon I had a moment to review them, and asked my supervisor if she wanted to look at them also. She flat out said she didn’t want any part of it. I sat and picked up that big ole stack and said to another helper that I didn’t really want to look at them either. I just wanted someone to show up ready to work, shortcutting this application process. Less than 3 minutes later, a young man walked in and asked about the position that we had. I looked at his resume and he had the very skills we could use in our department! He also speaks Spanish and can help me learn more, so that sweetened the deal for me. I had to go get my supervisor since she had to be part of this hasty decision, and LOL, we hired him on the spot. So without going through all of those resumes, we had the perfect someone show up when we needed him. He was tickled to know that he had a job starting the first of the year, so everyone was very happy. I love just seeing someone in my mind’s eye and then they show up – they do! Ken, you and I do that anyway, but this has increased. It is so much more instantaneous and remarkable since learning with you the past couple of years and attending your workshop last June. I wanted to share this just in time success with you all. Leephether If it affects you, then you have the power to change it. Manifesting is not always about what you desire at home. If there is something you require or need changed in the field around you, then take charge. Manifest the perfect solution. You may not be able to change those personalities around you, but there are hundreds of ways to reduce the problem and the stress. Sometimes it is as simple as an improvement in your own perception, a staff shuffle or change of you job task. Regardless, you have tremendous influence so put Manifesting 123 to work for you. It is not necessary to provide every detail and micromanage your solution. Simply visualize a future were the problem is solved or your requirement is met, then go back to your day to day schedule. A solution is being formed that will cut through the calculus and arrive as quickly as possible. In this case, the entire office benefited, particularly the new hire. I wonder if he was asking for something on the quick? Place your bets! Ken   Do you have a story of your own to share? Send it to Ken

Praying for the Cure: Message Received at the DMV

Recently I was invited to appear on a local radio show here in Denver. It was fun to be live in the studio with radio hosts Greg and Lisa. Most of my radio interviews are in other parts of the country and take place by phone. The owner of the radio and recording studio facility is Hoss. I told Hoss I was interested in doing an audiobook version of Manifesting 123 and he recommended the perfect person to me. So lately I’ve been recording at Hoss’ studio and spending more time with him there.A number of talk shows originate from his station. His philosophy is to have upbeat programs without offensive language. He is basically trying to put some good out into the world. I’m glad we got to spend more time together. Hoss has a lot of interesting stories from his years in the broadcast industry. Then there was that one personal story that really got my attention. I’m delighted that Hoss has allowed me to pass this onto you. Some years back, he was diagnosed with an incurable type of cancer. He was a very sick man and it didn’t help his struggle mentally to know that one of his best friends had been diagnosed with the same type of cancer about a year before. The difference was that his friend’s cancer was operable, but Hoss’ was not. Hoss, his friends, family and total strangers, were putting up a lot of prayers. He was doing some very serious asking and petitioning. He did not want to die. Leading up to the diagnosis, Hoss underwent exploratory surgery. While the doctor had his suspicions of what he was going to find, he needed to see exactly what causing the excruciating pain. After opening Hoss up and exposing the cantaloupe-sized tumor to the surgical team, the prognosis was pretty grim. Turned out that this was the exact same 8-person surgical team that operated on Hoss’ friend who had been diagnosed a year earlier. The cancer was pretty much identical, except for the location. Hoss wasn’t expected to live through the night. The next morning the doctor was doing his rounds and was surprised to see that Hoss was still alive, but in pretty bad shape. The doctor told Hoss to hang on and that he would return later in the day. When he returned, he brought an Oncologist with him who had amazingly enough, treated Hoss’s friend. It was at this time that Hoss was told that he had cancer. While the Oncologist was up beat, his prognosis was that Hoss would not live more than 6 months. To his credit, the doctor did not share that prognosis with Hoss and discharged him from the hospital a week later, scheduling him for 6 months of experimental and intensive chemotherapy. Months later, Hoss was still extremely weak and far from a picture of health. The medical bills had really mounted up, so Hoss decided that he would have a garage sale in an attempt to bring in some extra cash. On the day of the sale his daughter came to him and asked for a favor. She said she would run the garage sale if he would go to the DMV and renew her license plates. That sounded like torture to Hoss. Because of his very fragile health and low-energy, it would take a real effort for him to get to and from the DMV. However, to please his daughter he made the trip. When he got into the waiting room, all the chairs were full except for two, side by side in the front row. A large number of people were standing all around the perimeter of the room. Hoss needed to sit down and he told me he would’ve done whatever it took to get one of those two chairs. He got lucky and collapsed into one of the chairs. Now he just had to tough it out for the long, long wait until his number was called. Almost immediately a woman sat down next to him and began to chat. She was a real talker and Hoss didn’t have the energy or desire to carry on a conversation. She was friendly enough and hard to ignore, but he didn’t give her much in the way of responses. Then she mentioned that she was a nurse. Hoss has a real soft spot in his heart for nurses and he began to engage a bit more. Hoss talked about his cancer and the nurse said that she knew his surgeon’s mother. The mother had recently died and this nurse helped her through hospice. What a small world it was. Hoss was glad that he made the effort to talk with this woman. Then his number was called, but before he could stand up, this lady patted him on the leg, called him by name, and told him that everything would be OK.  Hoss thanked her and got up to walk over to the clerk’s window. After a few steps he suddenly stopped, realizing that he had intentionally not given this lady his name, yet she knew it!  He turned around to ask her how she knew his name, but she was gone and two other people were sitting in the chairs that Hoss and the nurse had occupied just seconds ago. Hoss was stunned. This women had no way of knowing what his name was. The room was still full of people but there was only one door out and he thought that he could easily find her. There’s no way she could have exited the room that quickly. He was hanging by the clerks window in disbelief. She simply wasn’t in the room now but she knew his name. The clerk asked Hoss, “Are you alright?” He stammered out that he was OK, then he asked the woman, “Did you see the woman that I was talking to? I can’t find her in the room.” The clerk said, “That’s why

After the Workshop, Things Are Happening Fast!

When I attended your workshop last week, I was at a very low point. I was having to take pain pills and muscle relaxants as a result of an accident a few weeks before. My doctor said I may need surgery, adding to my worries. I was counting on my friend to drive me to your workshop, but she was unable to come. I made it anyway and I’m glad I did. I was SO grateful! listening to your and everyone’s stories, I saw the many blocks and “not possibles” I was putting in my way of my success. I had just seen my financial planner and realized how I cannot afford my life or my retirement with the current job/trajectory which is physically too demanding for me anymore. I really want to do art, travel and help people one on one. I didn’t see how.The next two days after the workshop were spent cleaning and decluttering my house my mind. I was getting rid of the thoughts and limits that were in the way of allowing my clear movie to happen. As you described it in your book, I wanted this movie to be all I desired without self-imposed limits or those of others. Amazingly, many of the things I put into my movie began to happen right away. I could see the pieces falling into placeTuesday, I got a call from the international company I most want to work for. Turns out they are expanding into my area. They want to fly me to San Diego next week for an interview! If I get this job, it will create a lot of wonderful opportunities. I worked out some extra time to spend with my sister there, including extra time in her warm climate with a beach (part of my movie.)Should this job with my ideal company come to pass, there would be an increase in salary (movie.) I not only would be working with clients one on one (movie), but be able to afford fun art travel. Travel is built into the job, just as I want itI would get a car allowance that would allow me to get the perfect SUV vehicle (also part of the movie.) I could afford to go with my art and travel friend, Jeannie, to Spain! There is more… I’m finding I don’t need surgery and am getting good personal training instead. What a relief!I have a new manifesting partner as well. To be able to share this with others is such funWhen I came to Colorado in 1984, it was because of an experience I had getting lost in the wilderness. The workshop gave me the tools I needed to be centered and trusting, I not only got a clear sign of how to find my way back but a voice saying “This is how I want you to trust!Stuff got in the way, but thank you for bringing me back to trusting my Higher SelfNamaste,DebDeb figured out what she wanted and went to work on it.She was covered up in negative news but it didn’t stop her. She committed herself to change. Yes, the workshop and Manifesting 123 gave her important tools, but at the core of it all was her decision to clear out the clutter and figure out what would make her comfortable and happy. As it turns out, it wasn’t hard work… really. The results started to come in right away. Will she get that particular job? I certainly hope so, but if not, there will be others that will do very well or perhaps even better. Things are quickly starting to flow her way at lastI love the way this all came together. Suddenly all the major parts in here Movie are shown to be possible. Now Deb knows that elegant solutions are not only possible, but probable.Let’s get behind Deb’s intention for a successful job interview. Have fun at the beach too!KenDo you have a story of your own to share?  Send it to Ken

Tim Makes a Big Wish

As I mentioned in an earlier newsletter, I ask people to make wishes from time to time. The point is to get people to ask for things large or small, just for themselves. Too often we neglect ourselves. Request good things for yourself. Here’s a marvelous example of what can happen. It was back in 2005 or 2006 when I was reacquainted with a wonderful artist, Tim Saska. I used to represent Tim’s work at Houston gallery many years before. At the time, I saw one of his paintings advertised in a national magazine. They were very appealing, so I called Tim and we began representing his works. We did very well with his paintings and he often said that phone call made a tremendous difference in his career. It was Tim that did the beautiful paintings. He made it easy for us to place them with our clients. After my time at the gallery we had lost contact with each other, but years later I called him when I began visiting Santa Fe on an infrequent basis. It was great to see Tim again. He lived in Santa Fe and was just the tour guide I needed. One evening after dinner we were standing out under the stars. Tim was about to drive back to the tiny place he was renting in Santa Fe. There wasn’t a lot of room for him or studio space for an artist given to making large works. He was doing okay but there was too much struggle and I could tell Tim wasn’t as happy as he could be. I was married to Linda at the time, a smart, attractive women who is also a marvelous hostess and great conversationalist. (No, we are not married now but we are good friends. For that, a lot of credit goes to her, thank you, Linda.) It was a great dinner with the three of us. As Tim was getting into his car afterwards, he made it clear that he had had a wonderful evening with Linda and I. He said, “Ken, you’re the luckiest guy in the world. I wish I had someone in my life like Linda.” I remember looking at the stars so sharp against the dark sky that night and proposing to Tim that he make a wish. Why not ask for that wonderful partner in his life? It was about 6 months later when I got a call from Tim. He was very excited and began to tell me about a lovely woman he had met, Joyce. She was a scientist working at a prestigious laboratory in the area. He was really smitten with her and he couldn’t believe his luck. Although he kept it light-hearted, he was quite serious when he described himself as something less than the Great Catch. He couldn’t figure out what Joyce saw in him, but she truly cared for him and he had moved in with her. He had found his wonderful companion and yes, she even had a better space for him to work in. Everything had had worked out beautifully. As I recall, it was about a year and a half later when Tim discovered he had a serious illness. It was tough, and in a time that was far too short, he was gone. Joyce was with him all the way and Tim could not have been more grateful for her. He had a wonderful funeral service with a gathering of good friends. They brought their tears and good cheer. During the service, some of us got up to speak. I was honored to tell Joyce this story, where she heard it for the first time. As it turns out, Joyce had been widowed before. I can’t imagine what was going on in her mind and what she felt in her beautiful heart, and bless her heart. I would speculate that she was the perfect person to love and care for Tim in the last part of his life. She truly made him very, very happy. She was his wish come true. Time is short, dear friends. Ask. Yes, be grateful for what you have but please give yourself permission to ask for more. Should you find yourself with more than enough, then you can share with others. Should your heart be filled to overflowing, then you can share that also. Enjoy this wonderful season and don’t forget to put yourself on the gift list too. Expect a Miracle!

A couple of years back I got a call from a fellow artist and good friend, Mary. She had been talking to some of her colleagues and they wanted get together and discuss having a group art show. At the core of the discussion was how could we could come together as a group and further our careers. This meeting took place about a year before I had written the Manifesting 123 book. I had already been talking to a lot of people about the manifesting techniques and some of them were in this group. Before our meeting I had been steadily using the techniques to help my art career. So when this call came in I had to smile. This was an idea I would’ve never come up with myself. I had to say yes because it sounded like just one of those opportunities I had been looking for. We got together and kicked around some ideas. We didn’t want to do an exhibition together in a small way. It couldn’t be a coffee shop or library show but something that would have real meaning and would push us as artists. I went for the moon saying, “What I would like for us to do is a Museum show.” Well, what are the chances of that? But Mary came right back and said, “Hey, I know someone that works in a museum.” I was stunned, and then it hit me. I knew someone that worked in a museum too. It was the same person, so it was a arranged that Mary would give her a call the next morning. It didn’t take long. Mary came back with good news the following afternoon. It was all arranged, we would show together at the Madden Museum of Art in Denver. We even got the date that we hoped for, September of that year. Amazing that it happened in one day. Perfect! Our planning took place early in the year so we had months to prepare ourselves for the big show. We decided that we would do something beyond what we have been doing before, going larger and bolder. We used the title To Expand and set a high bar for ourselves. Everyone got right to work. We used social media to show our works in progress and promote the show in advance. I had some ideas in mind but I was having a lot of trouble getting into the studio. My fellow exhibitors were continually posting new works. They were on fire. For those of you that read my book, you’ll know that my manifesting priorities are first for perfect health and second, to do what I’m here to do. What follows on my personal list is everything that allows me to live comfortably and happily, including a successful art career. Countless times I’ve been working in the studio when the phone rings. In minutes I know it is something that I can help with. This conversation comes under the heading of what I’m here to do. So I drop the painting and give priority to the task at hand. It’s not just the phone calls. A lot of people come to lecture and teach here in Denver. There are many wonderful teachers and friends that stay at my home for a number of days. Of course a lot of friends also want to come by at that time to visit as well. It is impossible to paint during those events, but somehow my career gets taken care of, just as I specify it in my manifesting movie. I am amazed at how the lovely buyers find my work so the bills get paid. I am very thankful for all of my galleries and distributors. I couldn’t do this without them. What a busy year since that first meeting. A number of months have now gone by but if I really work hard, I can make up for lost time. I can still put together a large body of work, including those big canvases t’m driving for. I did get two very large oils blocked in, but man, I can’t get into the studio for any length of time to save my life! It seems I’ve got a brand-new career called “Ken is always doing what is here to do” and it became a full time job plus late nights. So now I’m in real trouble. With two months before the show, I have precious little art to put on those big Museum walls. The two big canvases are still were they were two months ago, works in progress that need a lot of time and energy. There is good news: exactly as I have manifested, my art sales are doing fine. I imagine that all my galleries are having steady sales and that all are happy. Then a tough call comes in from my California gallery. Business had been really tough for them. There is a depression going on although I haven’t felt it. The gallery is closing it’s doors and they are sending all of my artworks back. That’s really too bad. We were getting some traction there and it’s a great career market. If I wasn’t so busy with other things I would’ve been in a funk, but I didn’t have the time to care at the moment. Three big crates of artworks appeared in a weeks time. I opened those heavy crates at the end of the day and brought all the paintings and pastels into the house. Then the funk found me and I went to bed, it had been another long, busy day. I woke up the next morning with the usual first thought, “When am I going to get some painting time?” I had been involved in some good things that were helpful to many for months now, but it didn’t put paint on the canvases. I grabbed a coffee and slow walked it into the room were all the returned artworks were stacked.  Then it hit me. I was looking at the equivalent of three months of painting! It was
