My Gratitude Journal Manifested the Perfect SUV!

My Gratitude Journal Manifested the Perfect SUV!

I’ve been driving my 2001 Tahoe since I bought it at the end of 2001. It is a great family car but after so many years of use I was starting to lose confidence in it. Once it broke down at a major intersection, a very big problem! We got it running again, but I was very leery of driving it on any of the long trips I often have to take.

I keep a grateful journal, a very pleasurable exercise and it is part of my manifesting practice. After my Tahoe had broken down, I started writing in my grateful journal every day that I was VERY thankful for my next vehicle, a smaller luxury SUV.

I didn’t visualize the color or brand—but I was thinking along the lines of a Lexus, Acura, Cadillac, or Lincoln. MAIN thing I wanted it loaded with everything and to include a heated steering wheel. It’s cold in the winter here!

Writing in my journal, I also specified that this new SUV would not be a financial burden. Further, I was grateful that my Tahoe would work well for me until the perfect SUV came my way, covering my bases for now.

Nine months later, at the exact intersection where my Tahoe broke down before, I broke down again!

I put my foot down and said out loud that my car is out there waiting for me. My husband was, let’s just say, a wee bit ticked and refused to look at first. But even my kids got on him about upgrading to a newer model.

We began to look and found something right away. It was a used Lincoln MKX, 2 1/2 years old (the big depreciation was already out if way) with less than 15,000 miles. Loaded with accessories including that heated steering wheel and still had the full factory warranty. It was just like new!!

We did have to take out a loan, but the interest rate was VERY low. I believe less than 2%, so the payments aren’t a financial burden.

Of course my kids got a vehicle out of it too—the Tahoe. It is perfect for them because they only drive around here and don’t travel long distances.

My ‘little’ gratitude journal and singular focus manifested the perfect result – again.

I am grateful, grateful, grateful!
