Manifesting for Others: Got it Fixed in Five Days (reprise story)

Last Sunday, my mom and I were on the way to the theater and the “check engine” light came on in her car. She became very agitated and stressed because she loves the freedom of the open road and suddenly no longer felt safe driving her car. I suggested that we start manifesting a solution. However, she was really too stressed to hear me and simply couldn’t focus on manifesting or anything else other than getting home and parking her car in the garage. So I quietly started to run a “movie” about her car being fixed for an “affordable and reasonable price” by someone reliable so that she would once again feel safe in her car. On Monday morning I called her and asked what the game plan was for the car. She said she was working on some options. Once again, I quietly ran the “movie”. On Tuesday afternoon, I asked her what options she had thought of. She had made a list of garages that she was going to call for estimates. I suggested that she should also call the dealership just for a price comparison. As I hung up the phone, I again ran the “movie”. On Wednesday when I talked to her, she had called 3 garages and the dealership. Surprisingly, the dealership had the best prices and she had booked an appointment for the next morning. As I fell asleep, I ran the “movie” – twice this time just to supercharge it! Bright and early Thursday morning she had her appointment at the dealership. About 2pm, I received a text message from mom saying that the mechanic had run a complete diagnostic and couldn’t find anything wrong. He reset the onboard computer and the “check engine” light went off. The mechanic also gave her a short list of items that should be checked in the next few months, but nothing that would stop her from driving safely in her car. As she went to check out with the cashier, they washed and vacuumed her car. When she asked the cashier how much she owed, the cashier told her that the diagnostic fee had been waived and she didn’t owe anything … not one cent!!! How is that for an “affordable and reasonable price”?!  LOL!!  Thank you, thank you for teaching me how to run the “movie”!!  😀 With enormous gratitude and appreciation, Sandi Can you have influence beyond yourself? Yes you can. In manifesting anything is possible if you can think it…and here comes the qualifier. You can certainly help yourself but when it comes to directly helping others, your intentions are often less effective. Those that are close to us are within their own walk in life, with the everyday ups and downs for their individual lives. You can’t simply step in and run their 100 yard dash or take their calculus exam. These challenges for for them to learn. The good news is that you can have influence in the field around yourself and others as well. I can’t know with certainty, but perhaps the engine repair wasn’t mom’s ‘test,’ it was an everyday problem waiting for a solution. The happy result could have been just one of those nice events that come along or perhaps Sandi had some influence in mom’s field. It’s an encouraging story and as someone said to me after a manifesting success of my own, “Now do you see what you can do?” Sandi, don’t stop now! Prison, Prayer and Then the Miracles Found Me

Gary is a good friend, someone I have known for years and it was Gary who introduced me to J. and told me a bit about him.The two of them recently came out to do some work around my home . When I heard J’s story, I asked him if he would share it with you. Once J. began to speak, it became very difficult for him to relive parts of his experience. He is sharing now to give us hope and to offer an example of what prayer can do. Ask. We are all worthy regardless of how we may think of ourselves.  Ask for all manner of things with prayer and create by manifesting. First, you begin by asking. Thank you, J. and Gary for bringing this story to us all.  Ken My name is J. and going on 40 years ago, I went to prison for a very serious crime that resulted in a life sentence. I spent over half my life in there. I didn’t pray, I didn’t do anything in there for a long time. Then came a time in my life when I prayed to God for myself and my sister who was homeless. I wanted to help her and to get help myself. I had been in prison for well over 20 years and there were times when I lost hope but for the most part, I was continuing my prayers for a release and thinking of better days ahead. One day my sister hitchhiked to the prison to see me. She was homeless at the time and it took a lot of effort to make that trip. When she was on the road hitchhiking back, a couple driving by pulled over to pick her up. They took the time to talk to her and then they decided not only to drive her back, but to pitch in and really help her. They stayed close to her and  got her back on her feet. They helped her find a place to live and how to use her social security and other programs to get by financially and have a better life. The three of them became good friends and they continued to help her get the things she needed. While still in prison, I helped her as well, whenever I could. Sometime later, my sister told them my story and how I was hoping for parole. The husband was a lawyer in a big city firm and he went to work on my case without charge. The system is a nightmare and it took a long time for to move my case forward. The husband was there for my parole hearings and after years of effort, God and that kind couple got me out of prison for good. Once I was released, it was through that same couple that I next met Gary – he is a good man that did occasional work for the couple. Gary is always busy doing home repairs and needed another person he could trust to help him with his business. Gary trusted me and gave me the chance I needed  and just in time. I’m doing all right now. I have a car and driver’s license, a good place to live, and I have a more positive outlook on life. I thank God every day. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for God, my answered prayers and the efforts and trust of kind strangers. I am amazed at how it all turned around, impossible as it seemed and I am grateful. J. I Dared to Dream Big. Could it Happen?

I like what E. said at the bottom of his story,  “There’s this saying, if you are happy or not, you are right.” Thank you for sharing your wish come true. Ken E. writes: We started out with pretty humble beginnings.My wife and I didn’t have any family money or anything like that. We knew that everything we achieved had to come from our own resources. We always wanted to have a comfortable home with a significant piece of property for cattle and horses. I didn’t understand how that could ever happen, but it was our dream just the same. We did get a modest home out in the country with some acreage, nothing over the top, but comfortable for my wife, me and our six kids and that took care of all our needs. We had a little ranch with some cows and horses and we could take care of their needs too. After happily living there for a time, we learned that the property owner next door sold a 160 acre piece to residential housing developers. Once those houses were built, we started fielding complaints that our cows and calves made too much noise. The city had apparently moved to us and it was time to move on ourselves. I am self-employed in the stucco business with two employees, not a foundation for a financial empire.I knew about manifesting and it got me to thinking that perhaps this would be worth a try. My stucco business is mostly urban work, so I didn’t want to be too far away from my business. Of course, the closer in you are to the city, the more expensive it is – a tricky balance. My wife and I talked about what we wished for a new place and put together a pretty clear idea of what could work best for us. At some point I physically wrote all down. I didn’t specify an exact amount of acreage, but it was substantial. We wanted the freedom to do what we wanted on a small ranch without the restrictions of neighbors living on top of us. This was our long-term, lifetime plan. It was 2008 and the market was at the bottom but we put our place up for sale.To our surprise, we had three showings in two days without any information about what people are interested. Shortly after, we were out cleaning stalls on a Sunday afternoon and this couple pulled in a rental car. They told us who they were and said, “You know, we’re not supposed to be here without a realtor but we’ve looked at your house three times in the last two days and we love it. They made an offer to buy it, no inspections, no objections and at full price! The only catch was, they were moving from South Carolina and wanted to take occupancy in 27 days! We would have to move out all the stuff for eight people and the cows, horses with all of that associated equipment as well. The offer was amazing and we took it. Now to find where we would go next. My wife and I got in the truck and started driving around out East, a direction we rarely travelled. Just eight miles out, we came across this old farmhouse that not been lived in for a long time with broken up windows and overgrown trees actually growing into the open windows of the house. Laying on the ground was a real estate sign. We got the number from it and called the agent. He didn’t want to represent the property anymore and gave us the direct number of the owner. After a chat, the owner told us it passed to family members after their mom and dad passed away. He gave me a price that was way too rich for us and I told him so.The owner asked me for a counter and I told him I would get back to him. The owner also explained to me that the property would go into foreclosure in 45 days and that back taxes were owed on it. I called a realtor friend of mine and he recommended that I offer 33 cents on the dollar, close it privately without a realtor and pay the back taxes. It would be an amount we could afford. I called back with my offer and after consulting with the other family members / owners, they agreed to the deal. The house needed more work than I thought, nine months worth, but we got it done somehow. We can’t imagine living anywhere else. When you walk into our place, it is Home. From a financial perspective, there’s no way in the world we should be living in that good home on a that special piece of property.Did I tell you it is 1600 acres? That’s a sizeable amount of land. The kids regularly have conversations with my wife and I about when we are all older, who’s moving in and who’s taking over and how to split this up so they can each build a house on the property. Looking back at the whole picture, it goes back to getting this idea in my head, talking about it with my wife and putting it into a written note. Over the years I thought about this house and farm but kept it as a big picture idea, without too much detail. Also, I didn’t try to figure out how it could happen financially, that is, I didn’t rule it out, get in the way, and I think it kept the dream alive. There’s this saying, if you are happy or not, you are right.If you are a negative person all the time then you know what? You’re right. Bringing it All Together Before the Baby Arrives!

Have you ever been completely overwhelmed, trying to bring a lot of important, loose ends under control? Here’s an inspiring story that illustrates how manifesting can simply and powerfully create amazing results! Ken S. writes: My mom and I are aware of how our thoughts can manifest outcomes and together we recently supported each other while creating some very big outcomes. I was simply visualizing what I desired, kept the details broad and simple without too much detail. It was natural to have doubts, but I kept them to a minimum and continued to focus and work toward my goals. Mom was a big part with her ideas and support. We’ve both realized how manifesting has made an enormous difference in our lives, and for me, it’s changed my family’s entire life, and my mom’s in the last year. Here’s what happened. I found out I was pregnant in November of 2017 and my husband K. and I were stuck (so we thought) in Massachusetts, 2000 miles away from home and from my Mom, who desperately wanted to guide me through my pregnancy and my baby’s first few months. K. and I had moved to the East coast a few years before and we were struggling to see our way back to Colorado even before I got pregnant, but that put us on a pretty short timeline! Keith frantically applied for jobs, hoping something would come up, while I did my best to remain relaxed and focused instead on what I wanted my baby’s future to look like. I was manifesting our future every day. Massachusetts is great, but there’s no place like home to raise a baby! I began to imagine our house in Colorado: living close enough to drive to my Mom’s house for Sunday dinners and hectic Thanksgiving mornings, cozy and big enough for a growing family, somewhere we could see ourselves for decades to come. I imagined K’s fancy new job where he could really shine! I spent hours thinking about all the places I wanted to bring my child to: The Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Castlewood Canyon — all places that would be so much harder to visit from Massachusetts! Everything was so uncertain; I was blessed with a relatively easy pregnancy, but as time went on and things got more and more difficult for me to do. We started getting pretty nervous about how we’d get back before this baby came out! Finally, K. heard back from his (future) employer about a job he never even applied for! He was given an offer without even an in-person interview, and just in time! It was the end of March, halfway through my pregnancy, and we still had to get a new car for the cross-country trip, get our house ready to put on the market, sell our house and find a new place to live when we arrived in Colorado, as well as have a baby, whose sex we didn’t even know! It was almost too much, but something within me trusted that everything would be okay, that everything would work out. Not exactly how I expected, of course! But those little details didn’t bother me at all, I had way bigger fish to fry! A little over a year ago, on May 1st, about two months before my son was born, we arrived on my mom’s doorstep, awaiting our new adventure. We did it!! A couple of weeks after that, we found our new house. It was 15 minutes away from my mom, 4 bedrooms for our budding new family and we got the keys on July 1st, the day after my son was born, in the very same hospital I volunteered at in high school! It really seemed like everything came together perfectly, and as stressful as it was, it seems now like there was no other way it could have happened. It wasn’t an easy ride, and there were definitely days I cried and worried, thinking there was no way it would work out, but trusting in the process is what got Keith, Max and I here safely and happily, and it has never let us down! Manifesting the Perfect New Home and Move at the Perfect Time

Life can be complicated, so it is always nice to hear how people use manifesting and gratitude to cut through the complexities and create perfect solutions. Thank you, V. for your story. Ken V. writes: A few months ago, I told Ken about how I manifested a new job but not the right job. Despite my frustration, we laughed a lot and he explained to me that when Manifesting I need to be SPECIFIC. Later when my husband and I decided to purchase a new home, I knew I had to get it right this time! My husband also believes in the principle of Gratitude and Manifesting and we decided that finding our new home would require double power. We knew that this time we had to be SPECIFIC about what we wanted and that finding a home in our price range would be very challenging. Not only that, but the real estate market is always HOT here and usually requires that multiple bids are accepted before a house is sold. In addition, we had to really decide what our priorities were and narrow down what we were looking for.We both wanted to be closer to the ocean, 30 minutes or less from my husband’s office and be close to hiking and biking. There were several areas like this but we needed to even be more specific. So, we narrowed down our search to two neighborhoods and then focused on the price range and house amenities. We had already had some bad experiences with local realtors who wanted to trap us into a buyer’s agreement or kept sending us homes that were way beyond our price limit.On homes that were in our price range they always told us about it the day the bids were due and they would quickly sell out from under us. It became frustrating. So, we realized that not only did we need to find the perfect home in our ideal neighborhood, but we also needed to manifest working the perfect realtor. It all came together and we found a wonderful agent who not only grew up in our targeted area, but he also knew about each and every house we were interested in. He really helped us navigate the area thoroughly and quickly. He didn’t even ask us to sign a buyer’s agreement. It also became clear that we needed to focus on the timing between our present lease being up, a window to to find our new home and abundant time move in before summer. Our combined manifesting worked because we brought our mental resources together so that the universe knew exactly what we wanted and where.Guess what? We even got the house for less than the listed price! The inspections were perfect too. We didn’t even have to worry about multiple bids because the mad rush of buyers occurred two weeks prior and while there was plenty of inventory left, the bidding activity suddenly halted. It was as if the Universe opened a time bridge for us. In addition, we get to move in late spring which gives us time to get settled before the summer. One of the important things Ken taught me was to say, “My time is perfectly synchronized.” While I had been using this in other manifestations, is was critical that we had our own perfect timing. Now I have something else to be grateful for! V. The Equivalent of Money

This is a reprise story and a very important one worth repeating. Financial solutions come in a lot of different forms, so don’t limit your thoughts to the ‘usual‘ solutions. Ken Emma in Sweden writes: For about a fortnight, I have been thinking how much I would like to have a car of my own. I don’t need one; the public transport here is fine and I’ve managed that perfectly. If I need a car, I ask to borrow Steven’s and he’s always very good and hands over the keys, but I feel bad about it. So after we moved to our house (which is another 123 story!!) I have been looking at cars on the road and wondering what, and how I could buy one. I said to Steven that it’s not enough to get enough money for the car, there is also insurance, petrol etc… so, how is that going to happen? We do our manifesting together every morning for 15 minutes. Mine begins with a new car. But I’ve had trouble with it! What kind of a car? Big? Small? Colour?? So it didn’t feel right. Then I opened your book and you mentioned something about that red car. Oh! That sounds good! I want a red car. So now I visualize my future where I roll into my driveway in a red car. Then I looked at red cars and didn’t like them! Noooo, not quite a red car……. hmmm…..We were driving this Monday and passed a car that caught my eye. That’s a nice car! Yes, agreed Steven. It’s a Nissan Note, that’s easy to remember, we laughed. When I got home, I looked on the internet for a Nissan Note for sale in my town. I found one. Red. Hmmm….. then I looked at the other pictures of it, inside and out and could not believe my eyes. I loved it. I called Steven and he looked at the pictures with me. Very nice car, he said. Good price. Impatiently I tugged at his sleeve and said: AND? Can’t you see it has my name on it? This is going to be my car! I can feel it in my gut, I just know it. But how? I pointed out one picture of the back side…. the license plate was EHS. My initials and S, for Steven – as he’s in my movie too!He really laughed with me! So, how was I going to get this car? I opened your book again and read about your conversation with the out of body author, William Buhlman. He discussed the thoughts forming like clouds in the non-physical realm and the more you think, the stronger the images get. OK, I’m going to bring out my secret weapon. Manifesting on Tuesday morning: I was now very clear about what kind of a car I was driving: the Red Nissan Note. In my mind I formed the image in the clouds, from a weak whisper to a stronger cloud. Once the outlines were there, I brought out my weapon. I imagined a long, white feather. I stroked the cloud shape and painted it red, so it was more solid, it looked like it was ready to be “born” and looked like my Nissan. Am I cheating??? The following day, Wednesday, I did it again. Later in the day Thursday I looked for it on the web, phew, it was still there of course, it was mine. I was supposed to start a new painting on Thursday but nothing was right, so I put my paints down and went for a walk. On the way back, I picked up my mail and there was a letter from the UK. I opened the letter and was lost for words. It was from the Pension Service in UK.They had agreed to pay my pension to Sweden backdated a year with a regular monthly sum. The amount was way over what I needed for the car and then the monthly payments would more than take care of the upkeep. I didn’t jump up and down and scream, I was dumbfounded! When Steven got home, he thought something terrible had happened as I was in shock. “I’m getting that car!” I said, just amazed. I called the car shop and made an appointment this morning, saw the car and I signed on the dotted line! I will get it next week, once I have sorted the transfers and they clean it, just for me. So there…. ha ha ha! Thank you! Now I’m using my weapon every morning!! All the best, Emma Henson, Sweden   It’s not always about the money. Emma purchased one of the first 10 books sold, three of which sold overseas. It has been a thrill to hear all that she has been bringing into her life.In this story it focused on the car, a red one. (Yes, there have been other car successes recently.) The problem was how to pay and continue to maintain the car of her dreams. As it says in the book, she went to her future and imagined herself in precisely the car she wanted.Apparently it was waiting for her in the ads, but how to pay for it? Emma didn’t dwell on the how but she took her visualizing further, using a feather to shape and color it in. Did she cheat? Of course not – she was magnifying her intention and aiding her visualization. Brilliant, and she got results! The money for purchase AND maintenance just appeared unexpectedly as if by magic. She didn’t have to work the extra job or win a lottery. Call it the equivalent of money. From Failing to Fame!

N. writes: My daughter Sunshyne is 13 and she is in the 7th grade. She has been struggling in two subjects, French and even more so in math. With her schools grading system, it takes 50%  to pass and she is the 40s or less in math. Her teacher was concerned and told me she was failing in math. I decided to get her attention and create an incentive. She was becoming more obsessed with her outfits than grades, so I had to clear the distraction. I went to her closet, took her favorite top out along with a few other clothes items and threw them all in the trash. When she came home I told her that if she doesn’t get her grades up, I’ll dress her like a nun. She quickly responded and on her next math test she got a passing grade at 50%. I was OK with that grade but there was more room for improvement, so I enrolled her in summer school. It did cost money and it came out of an already tight budget, but this was important. Summer school is like tutoring and our goal was to get her to 60%. My daughter told me she was going to really focus and work on it. As we have done in the past in our family, every night before bed she prayed for help and continued motivation. She also used a manifesting technique, visualizing her future where she could see her grades going up, up, up into the 90s. Less than a year later, she came home from class with some very good news. The faculty told her that she is one of only three chosen for a statewide math competition because her math grades hit 95%. It all worked out because we celebrated her representing her school, and now she is so focused on her studies, she got new outfits courtesy of her big sister. My daughter wasn’t trying to manifest a Math Olympics competition, that is a new program, but she did hit her 90% mark and more in a very short time! Sunshyne is very happy and I feel fantastic. Romance?

E. writes: Some people just aren’t meant to be together.  And some people are. I had a very contented life.  And then I found painting.  I’ve never been a half-way person. If I’m in, I’m in with all my thought, study-power, drive and effort. And so painting contorted my life, as just described.  I’d get up early and paint for two hours before I went to work.  I took workshops and classes.  My paintings were getting much better but they weren’t feeding my soul. Then one day in my gallery, I heard that this amazing out-of-town painter was going to give a workshop where I lived. “I want what he has!” I said with pure enthusiasm while pointing to his work. The price of the workshop was high for me based on my sales, but I rationalized that I’d never get anywhere just wishing to be better. I’m from a small state, and it turned out that the workshop teacher was born 60 miles from where I’d been born. He didn’t claim that state as he moved away when he was just a year old. I still noticed that bridge. The workshop was fantastic. I had a huge breakthrough, and my painting has never been the same. I attended one or two further workshops at his studio. We became friends, but not close friends.  Then he returned to give another workshop where I lived. He had allowed me to stay at his home for each workshop.  I somewhat reluctantly returned the invitation.  He accepted and stayed at the other end my house.  One morning as we were about to leave for the class, he asked if he could kiss me.  I said yes. It was the most electric kiss one could imagine.  And then I almost accusingly but delightedly said, “Why did you do that?”  “Because I wanted to,” he said and smiled, and then we left for class. I thought we really connected. After a few visits to see me, he told me in words that I didn’t like that he didn’t see us as a couple. I was mad and hurt.  I told him he was wrong.  He was. We were really good together. My healing from this hurt was slow. Life has its own timing and ways. Some months (years?) passed, and he wanted to come see me again. I figured I had my guard up and that it would be okay.  I think my guard was asleep in the guardhouse.  Six weeks later he called me early one morning and told me he loved me. Without meaning to be uppity, I told him, “I know” then I told him I loved him, too. Within a month he began asking me to marry him. I said, “Yes, but not now.” In abductions, police want a “proof of life.”  Now I wanted a proof of love.  It wasn’t going to be easy.  There were some tiffs and a lot of breakups.  Overcoming doubt was difficult for me in this situation.  I’m happy to tell you that through all the trials, my honey and I have grown by light years in mutual understanding. This is our own Hollywood-style story. You know that most Hollywood stories have a happy ending. Yesterday he presented me with the most gorgeous ring imaginable and asked me to marry him. It was time, and this go-around I said yes. The ring wasn’t necessary for me because I’d already loved him, even when he thought he didn’t love me. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful symbol of our love and an every-day reminder that dreams really can come true. That’s a Lot of Money but I Made it Happen Anyway!

There was training session coming up that I was very interested in. It was expensive, $3000, but it would be important for the work I do and I could provide new services for my clients and increase my income. I was set on doing the training but this large amount was going to have to come from somewhere and pretty quick. The registration deadline was coming up soon, so I said, “Alright Universe, bring me the $3000.” That being done, I began to make some moves myself and not just sit around. I decided to call the person in charge of the training sessions and asked if I could pay $1500 over time and $1500 before the class. After a moment, the trainer accepted my offer. Great, I am almost there! There was another training class that was offered for an additional $1000. This increased knowledge would be good for my business as well as create a larger financial hurtle. I did have the $1000 on hand, but I was determined to manifest it from elsewhere instead. Every day I kept my thoughts focused on the $2500 balance required for both training sessions. I was clear in knowing the money would come through, even though I didn’t know the when or how. In a short time, I got a call from a conference organizer in Iowa inviting me to be a speaker and facilitator at their upcoming event. Not knowing exactly how it would turn out financially for me, I accepted. At the least, it would provide some additional income toward the training sessions I had signed up for. I went to Iowa where everything worked out beautifully and the timing was perfect. I made enough at their conference to cover that $2500! The training was important to me and even though it seemed out of reach financially, I didn’t admit to it. I asked for help and did my part by negotiating payments and saying yes to the Iowa speaking opportunity. All worked out nicely. I still have a balance to pay back but it is within my budget to do so and with the new tools from my training sessions, I will have the additional income to make it happen even quicker. Looking back, the money was never a problem because I didn’t think of it that way. D.
