Manifesting for Another: Got it Fixed in Five Days (reprise story)

Last Sunday, my mom and I were on the way to the theater and the “check engine” light came on in her car. She became very agitated and stressed because she loves the freedom of the open road and suddenly no longer felt safe driving her car. I suggested that we start manifesting a solution. However, she was really too stressed to hear me and simply couldn’t focus on manifesting or anything else other than getting home and parking her car in the garage. So I quietly started to run a “movie” about her car being fixed for an “affordable and reasonable price” by someone reliable so that she would once again feel safe in her car. On Monday morning I called her and asked what the game plan was for the car. She said she was working on some options. Once again, I quietly ran the “movie”. On Tuesday afternoon, I asked her what options she had thought of. She had made a list of garages that she was going to call for estimates. I suggested that she should also call the dealership just for a price comparison. As I hung up the phone, I again ran the “movie”. On Wednesday when I talked to her, she had called 3 garages and the dealership. Surprisingly, the dealership had the best prices and she had booked an appointment for the next morning. As I fell asleep, I ran the “movie” – twice this time just to supercharge it! Bright and early Thursday morning she had her appointment at the dealership. About 2pm, I received a text message from mom saying that the mechanic had run a complete diagnostic and couldn’t find anything wrong. He reset the onboard computer and the “check engine” light went off. The mechanic also gave her a short list of items that should be checked in the next few months, but nothing that would stop her from driving safely in her car. As she went to check out with the cashier, they washed and vacuumed her car. When she asked the cashier how much she owed, the cashier told her that the diagnostic fee had been waived and she didn’t owe anything … not one cent!!! How is that for an “affordable and reasonable price”?!  LOL!!  Thank you, thank you for teaching me how to run the “movie”!!  With enormous gratitude and appreciation, Sandi Can you have influence beyond yourself? Yes you can. In manifesting anything is possible if you can think it…and here comes the qualifier. You can certainly help yourself but when it comes to directly helping others, your intentions are often less effective. Those that are close to us are within their own walk in life, with the everyday ups and downs for their individual lives. You can’t simply step in and run their 100 yard dash or take their calculus exam. These challenges for for them to learn. The good news is that you can have influence in the field around yourself and others as well. I can’t know with certainty, but perhaps the engine repair wasn’t mom’s ‘test,’ it was an everyday problem waiting for a solution. The happy result could have been just one of those nice events that come along or perhaps Sandi had some influence in mom’s field. It’s an encouraging story and as someone said to me after a manifesting success of my own, “Now do you see what you can do?” Sandi, don’t stop now! Lost, in Trouble and Reaching Out with a Prayer

Mikaela writes, I was living in Nashville, Tennessee, making a living as a singer. I was on the road at 6:30pm and it was dark during the rush hour. I had the radio on and this song, Why We Sing from Kirk Franklin came on: I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free, His eye is on the sparrow. That’s the reason why I sing. And I’m crying. I’m lost. I have no idea what I’m doing with my life or my career, and all of a sudden, my back left tire pops and goes flat. I got to an underpass and pulled over on the left side of the road near the fast lane. I sat there, feeling very depleted, very beaten and really, really lost.  I had just purchased new tires on my car, but no matter.  What am I going to do? This is before the convenience of cell phones. I grabbed my keys, kept them in my hands, and decided just to walk up the highway and find a place to run across five lanes of rush hour traffic to get home. I quickly realized that would be impossible, a death wish. My walking path on the side of the highway was very narrow and spooky. It was then I realized that I was trapped in a bad situation. So I just kept walking and I remember thinking, “Alright, that’s it. Either take me out now or give me some kind of a sign because I can’t do this anymore. Give me a sign. I need a sign that I’m supposed to still be here.” I kept walking, praying the Lord’s Prayer and watching the red lights of all the cars going by. Then I noticed that the traffic had slowed way down until there were no cars at all. How could that happen? Then a single black pickup truck pulled in next to me and the driver asked, “Do you need a ride?” I accepted and ran around to get in on the passenger side. I was standing in the freeway fast lane and still there were no cars anywhere. It was as if I somehow stepped into an alternate reality. I got in the pickup and all of a sudden the traffic starts to go zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom, back to full speed. I asked him why he picked me up and he said he saw my keys shining and I said, “Wow, that’s hard to see when you are going that fast. I had on a long black coat that completely covered me. There’s no way anybody could have seen me holding a set of keys, especially going 65-70 miles an hour in the dark. He said that it looked like I was in trouble. He drove me to my boyfriend’s place nearby and gave me his business card just in case. Then I recognized him, he has billboards all over Nashville because he’s one of the top realtors in the area. I safely got my car back and the next morning, I called this man and I asked him again why he picked me up. He said, “Well, I’ll be honest with you. I felt someone tapping me on my right shoulder and I heard a voice in my ear that said, ‘She needs help, pick her up.” The same morning, I got a call from my girlfriend, L. Here’s a bit about her: some time before, she had been in a massive car accident that literally killed her. She had a time when she was literally gone but she came back to life. During that “out time” she went to the other side, the non-physical, spirit realm and found herself walking with Jesus. He told her that he had a beautiful place for her up there if she decided to stay and that he was going to give her the choice to stay because she was such a devout, loving person. He showed her a present vision of what her husband and her little dog were doing at home. They were sitting in the corner of the hallway outside the bedroom door and she got to hear their thoughts and feelings. She decided to stay even though He told her it’s going to be a long, painful recovery. So back to the morning after being stranded on the highway, L. gave me a call and asked me to come right over because she had a a message for me. L. was still in recovery and I was at her house all the time helping, caring, cleaning, bring food and keeping her company. So I went over to her house and she explained that she had another visit from Jesus. She had written down all of messages that Jesus had given her to pass onto me including this one. Jesus wanted to ask me this, “Was that a big enough sign for you?” I looked at her and I said, “What are you talking about?” L. said. “Last night on the highway.” “Well how did you know about last night?” I asked. She said Jesus came to her and explained what happened. Stopping all of the traffic and finding someone to pick you up took a number of angels to make it possible, He had said. Then He chose the right person, the driver of the vehicle that He had tapped on the shoulder, telling him, ‘She needs help, pick her up.” I was still not grasping the entire connection at that moment because I was sort of new to this sort of thing, but I realized later that I had manifested Him in my prayer when I asked to either take me out now or to give me a sign. He gave me a sign that He was there and made a second trip to my friend to explain everything, including that He is always watching over me and that He loves me. It was a massive and confirming sign for me, an incredible miracle as a

Can I Manifest Something and Then Change My Mind for Happiness Sake?

Tim writes: In 2016 I had spent a lot of time in Africa, resulting in my being afflicted with a parasite for a time. I had to stop performing after 7 years and it gave me a lot of time to relax and find out who I was as a person without the performing arts career. The arts were a big part of my life and I realized that most of my friendships were from that field and particularly around singing. I recall the day being in my bedroom and coming to the realization that I didn’t want to be known as a singer, that I just wanted to be known as a human. It was an aspirational thought but I soon regretted saying it. I put it this way and said it out loud, “I never want to sing again.” That statement, that command, ended my singing career. I stopped performing but the time off did help me find out who I was without the acclaim of others. Many years later, in December 2023, I decided that singing was a valuable gift and a worthy part of who I am. I wanted to sing again, so I began to manifest that outcome in my meditations while also taking action, singing periodically in Sunday morning church settings – a good start. I also decided that regardless, I was going to perform again, regardless of genre, regardless of platform, regardless of what people would think of me, or record deals, or anything. It was during this time that I happened to hear a short take of Mikaela Rae singing and it was inspiring. She is a Jazz vocalist but her true love is Gospel. I’ve done pop dance, indie, folk, rock, metal… just about everything. I had never done Gospel but now I was inspired to do so. Once I began singing Gospel, the realization came that I had found my voice again. About those lyrics…Gospel comes out of a place of pain but it’s also singing of joy and suffering. It made me think about slavery, African Americans being punished for no reason and the strong spirit that came out of their songs. They are songs of hope, gratitude and freedom, timeless expressions that ring true for every generation. By singing these songs, I live them to a degree. It has changed the way that I think, the way that I act, and the way I live my life on a daily basis. Clearly I had been asking and manifesting to sing but surprisingly, I was gifted much more. I wanted to pass along this good demonstration of what our words and thoughts can do. After Two Negative Years, Manifesting the Opposite!

M. writes: Sometime back, my sister, K. was working at a compounding pharmacy in Texas. It’s where custom medications are made to fit the unique needs of patients that can’t be met with mass-produced products. It was an OK job and the bills were paid. Then a group from Colorado bought it in order to turn it into a sterile lab, It’s a big deal to make that conversion, requiring a lot of engineering, time and expertise. So during that time they laid her off along with a few of the other the people working there. Six months went by and they were still being paid including health insurance, but they didn’t work or anything. K. kept thinking that any day, any week, she would go back to work. Finally after six months, they were told the payments would stop, but their job was still in the future. So K. quickly go a job working with COVID and other types of test kits at $13 an hour. It was horrible, just horrible with somebody breathing down her neck all day. That prompted here to push out more resumes until she got a job working at a doctor’s office collecting urine. It’s not very much money, but she took the job. I talked with her and asked, “Why don’t you look for a good paying, full time job doing something you would like to do?” That’s when I talked to her about manifesting. I was manifesting for her daily. She has a tendency to be negative so I jumped in and said, “Look, when you speak it, you’re bringing it to you. So you need to turn that around and you need to say that this is the job I want. Imagine yourself working in that large hospital you like that is 20 minutes away, not something with a one hour commute each way.” She stepped up and applied for a job at the preferred hospital and got a call back for an interview! She got a second interview and they told her they’re going to let her know by the next Wednesday, great news so far. So I suggested to her that between now and next Wednesday, pretend you got the job and imagine yourself happily working there. I was so proud of her! She started walking around the house saying out loud that this is my dream job and pretending she already had it. Then the call came and they offered her the position. To this point, she had been working for very little and she said to the caller, “Well, I need to make at least $16 an hour.” They offered her $24. Okay, okay but that’s most she’s ever made in her life. Her first day was basically orientation. At the end of the day, she was so overwhelmed and so thankful that she had this job she was holding in her tears. She called me and just was sobbing. I thought somebody died. She just was crying uncontrollably. “Oh my God, what’s wrong?” I asked. She had been keeping those tears in all day. She told me that she has her own office with a window on the ground floor of a three story building. Her nameplate is on the door and she can park right next to her office door and let herself in. Even better, it’s a fulfilling job, doing claims for low income, indigenous people. She works with two other people and they each have their own office. The offices are very nice, roomy with good furniture and there are two computer monitors on her desk. It’s a big deal. She just sent me a video of her office a little bit ago. There is a gym on the second floor that she loves. Her hours are weekdays from 7:30 – 4:30 and the short commute makes it easy. I’m so happy for her because she has had it really hard the last two years. But even after this success, it’s still difficult for her to turn her negative thought process around. Just yesterday before we hung up she mentioned that she doesn’t feel worthy. I quickly reminded her that all of her thoughts, negative and positive, are very powerful, so stay in the place where positive things are created and for K., so far, so good!! M. I Didn’t Realize How I Manifested a Remarkable Gift to Myself! Our thoughts are always creating things, even if we are not noticing. Pay attention to what you are saying and thinking and in particular, avoid repetitive, negative thoughts, just because… Ken Holly writes: I recently took an art workshop from Ken and toward the end of the weekend he asked each one of us, “Do you know where you want to go with your heart?” I decided on an artistic answer, that I wanted to exhibit my works, not really focusing on an income, but to get my artworks out there where people could see it and enjoy it. That workshop really restarted a lot of things for me and made me focus on what I wanted to accomplish as an artist. To that end, I told myself every day that I’m going to do something with my art career. It could be painting, working on my art website or even meeting my picture framer. I would touch on all the things that make up an artist’s career each day and rationally support my goal of having a gallery show. It was in late November when I got an email from a woman contacting San Diego artists on behalf of a local gallery in Balboa Park.I have no idea how I got on her mailing list to receive the nice invite and when I connected with the gallery, the person that invited me didn’t know either. I thought, well what the heck, it was an invitation to rent the gallery for $100 and I would be competing with other applicants to get the space. My girlfriend was with me and she said, “Oh, you really should apply,” and so I did. I’ve never been completely comfortable with the manifesting thing but after talking to Ken later and looking back onto what happened, I realized that my success was very much like a manifesting script.  At first, I was doing the manifesting thing, often picturing myself in the space and feeling what it would feel like to see my work hanging on the gallery walls. I just trusted that I would get a gallery show somehow and I simply got out of the way of making it happen, trusting that my thoughts would go a certain way and have some power of their own. I knew not to get all hung up on the negatives – that I’m not professional enough, or I haven’t done this thing, or that I’m too old, etc. Following along, when the opportunity appeared I took action. I didn’t shy away from the taking action. I picked up the phone, made contact with the gallery and decided on the spot to proceed with my application. As a scientist, manifesting is a very skeptical topic for me but I do like that part in Manifesting 1,2,3 and you don’t need #3 where it says is that like gravity, you don’t have to know how it works, and that you don’t have to visualize every intermediate step to success. Love to Travel? How Much Do You Want to Manifest?

Her life was profoundly changed with just one statement. Missy continued that focus, using what she learned in the book. What remarkable results! Ken Missy writes: I had a defining moment about seven years ago but the feeling and memory of the time is still vivid. I was sitting in a commercial airplane and as I was watching the baggage being loaded, a strong wave of elation filled my entire being. In response, I silently stated, “I love this thing called travel and I would like to do more of it.” It was not just a wish but somehow I felt it was compelling and important. At the start I was like the average person where time and money for travel were very limited. The logistics of living in a small New Mexico town in the middle of nowhere only added to the limited traveling opportunities. I shared my desire to travel with my friend Ken Elliott. He suggested that I add the phrase,”With an ease and a grace” after my manifesting statement. That has proven to be very good advice!! And travel I have! Over the past seven years I have been on cruises in the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean. The ocean liners varied in size from large ships to personal yachts. I had family members with me for weddings in San Francisco, Fort Worth and Denver. The family trips were wonderful. There were also trips to beautiful ranches in south Texas and Wyoming. There I was surrounded by nature, leaving me rested and restored. I later attended a fun workshop in Denver with Ken Elliott and Judy Goodman and another Colorado conference at Copper Mountain. For the last five years dear friends have shared their annual Grand Cayman Island vacation with me. Three years ago we decided to expand those trips to include what we jokingly call a vacation in a vacation. On the way back to New Mexico, we first spent a few more days in Florida and South Carolina. Are you dizzy yet? Then my travels began to take on different and significant purposes. In 2014 I was often traveling to Dallas to care for my sister. Fortunately, she has since recovered. Beginning in 2010 I was doing 400 mile round trips to care for my aging parents. I kept my humor with this because I was traveling with five large dogs and one ancient cat in a small SUV. It made for epic trips. In 2015 I finally left for Texas and moved into a bedroom with my parents. I cared for them while they were both in hospice. My cat had passed away but the dogs came with me. Thank God for a large, fenced side yard. My parents loved having the dogs around. My mother passed in 2016, but I was there for her. The following September my best friend, a nurse, accompanied me to Florida. I was seen by a specialist and had a successful surgery. Nothing like having your own private nurse to travel with you! The travels continued, a back again to care for my father before his passing in December 2016. A few months later I returned to my parents home to clear it and put it up for sale. I never had to put it on the market. The neighbor across the street paid cash for it! The trips didn’t slow down. In early in 2018, my daughter and her husband were diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease. It was a difficult situation and in time we learned a lot about this disease. My daughter is improving and has returned to her private therapy practice. My son-in-law is still challenged so prayers for both of them are welcome. We understand this is a long-term treatment plan but we are grateful that we have found some answers! All of this travel and the way it manifested has transformed my understanding of my initial thought on the plane seven years ago. My travels have led me through some narrow valleys and onto spectacular mountaintops. I cared for the dying, supported the sick, danced in a conga line on the beach, and later I fell to my knees in surrender there. I belly laughed with friends, had a pity party, joyously floated in the warm sea and I developed deep and meaningful relationships with family and friends. I have been humbled by the kindness of strangers, marveled at the colors the in the skies and over the prairies and seas. So much was experienced and seen. I moved between two worlds of travel. There was the travel for my renewal and expansion and the other trips were in service to others during their time of challenges. While traveling, provisions for my needs for always met. Places to stay and and helpful people were always there and sometimes at the instant of need. Other times I learned to stand patiently in my ease and a grace until the solution I required manifested itself. Again and again, my many trips were a continuing confirmation of the power of manifesting and the gentle way to bring it to you. Just add, “With an ease and a grace.” I am so very grateful! Eleven Favorite Manifesting Stories from 2023

This is a remarkable recap of manifesting stories for the year. Included here are two stories where contact was made with loved ones that had passed and exchanges of gifts between them. How informative and timely for the holidays, and for all times. Ken Manifesting Protection in Advance: Then the Angels Came Tim writes, My job is delivering fine artworks from artists, galleries and collectors. On this day my job was to pick up works from an artist in Colorado, my first stop and I woke up at 3:30 AM to get on the road.  Each day I begin with a meditation, prayer and manifesting, part of which is to ask for protection and express my gratitude for many things. It’s a good thing I did! I Was in a Fix For a Place to Live and My Manifesting Fixed It! W. writes: I’ve had many thoughts these last few months as my life changed significantly on all fronts; mentally, physically, financially and to some degree spiritually. I asked her today if she had a manifesting story to share and she surprised me with this. It’s a great example of making an intention, staying with it, and making it work. I have always admired her art, diligence and success. Here’s how… Ken My Mom’s Miraculous Story.  It Was the Prayer N. Writes: My mom took a bad fall in injured her knee. The pain increased over the next few days so she went to the doctor and was informed she had damaged her knee. It was serious and to be helpful, I said a prayer on her behalf. My Daughter Died, But My Intentions Created a Loving and Surprising Connection

This is a very important story illustrating what our intentions and thoughts can do, even beyond physical death. A grieving mother has shared this story, a remarkable gift offered to us all for the holiday season. It is confirming information in many ways and I hope you will share this story with others. Ken  K. writes: My daughter died on November 5th of this year. Life was difficult for her and despite a lot of medical attention, she was having continuing, epileptic seizures. She had terrible pain from the seizures in her neck and back and she had to try and function despite a strong fear of the seizures. It was a very difficult and continuing situation for her. On the morning of the fifth, we went into her room and discovered that she had died during the night. Days later, I called Ken to talk. I was in such grief with my daughter’s passing that Ken recommend two people to call that could contact my daughter. He explained that with their remarkable gifts, they could see and hear her with their physical eyes and ears and in real-time. With either of them, I would be able to converse with my daughter. I contacted Peter Marks first, just to have an initial conversation about the process and what to expect. Shortly after connecting with Peter on the phone, he told me that my daughter was there with him and that she was also in the company of her aunt that had died many years earlier. In this brief contact with my daughter, she correctly named the aunt that was there with her. I was much surprised that my daughter quickly appeared to Peter and that she was in the company of her aunt. This was a comfort and reassurance that I really needed. A few days later, I called Ken back and brought him up to date on what had happened. I let him know that I would arrange a full one-hour session with Peter and Ken offered an idea: that I send my daughter something in spirit, a gift created with thought, and Ken offered that she would immediately get my gift. I had read his book and Ken explained to me the experiences he had written about, that he had sent the other gifted person earlier recommended, Judy Goodman, many things in thought and Judy had the giftedness to see my thoughts take form in the non-physical, spirit realm. Ken went on to say that if we repeat a thought and send it with gratitude, it would eventually appear in our physical space, and that it is the true secret of manifesting, how our thoughts create form in our physical realm. After a lot of consideration, I came up with a gift idea, something that my daughter had talked about before. Without telling Ken or Peter about my plan, I decided to send what my daughter had told me she really desired, a small house with a view, overlooking the Frio river in Texas. I would it be something special our family could give her, so I prayed about it and asked for the house to be sent to her. It was a heartfelt desire and I thought if I could give her anything, that would be it, a little house by the river where she could be happy. I sent it out, my loving prayer and thought. A time was made for Peter to make a second introductory call and two days later, we talked. Our conversation had just begun when Peter told me he could see my daughter, that she was there in spirit with him in his Connecticut home. I was courageous and asked my daughter, through Peter, if she got the gift I sent her. She said, “Thank you for the house mom!” She proceeded to tell me more validating things as well. My daughter always wanted to do a lot of travel but it just didn’t work out for her. But in this conversation with Peter, she relayed to him that she is doing a lot of traveling now and is very happy about it! That’s pretty strong evidence for a genuine  connection to my daughter and for life after death. Peter’s gifts provided me such comfort, to know that my daughter was fine and that I could actually interact with her. This experience has been my gift and it is why I’ve been able to adjust to her sudden death as well as I have.
